The checkin process was a bit complicated since there was no one there when we arrived. Luckily a neighbour then called the landlord and helped us with getting access to the property.

Perfectly clean room. The room size isn‘t big but perfect for 1-2 nights. They even prepared a fruit platter in the fridge that was readily available for breakfast.

Amazing place. 5 min walk from the train ( depending on your luggage) Instructions to get in easy. Room is spacious. Kitchen is great. Wify worked fast and amazing. Great view from our room of mountains. Food and all close by in walking distance and the parking next door was perfect. Elevator and laundry and hanging space on balcony too. I'll be back one day and will stay here.

Although there was a kettle, our family room was set up in such a way as to make it tricky to use the kettle safely without rearranging the furniture a bit.

This was a comfortable home stay type property with a balcony. The beds were comfy and linen good quality. The owner had thoughtfully left us a delicious fruit platter. In advance of our stay we received many messages giving restaurant suggestions etc. It was amazing value for money. There was a kitchen available and fridge if you wanted to make light meals.

The property is close to the train station and offers perfect independence to go out for a meal, watch the sunset, or take a walk in the national park. It feels very welcoming, and everything is clearly explained and thoughtfully provided.

- Rooms aren't the biggest, and with a baby it was a bit of a tight squeeze. We were the only guests for the first 2 nights, so it wasn't much of an issue. - Laundry is on the terrace, and it was raining. While the machines were protected from the rain, I ended up getting a bit wet while doing the laundry. - The dryer is quite old, and took two cycles to completely dry.

Stayed here for 3 nights when we visited Hualien in June 2025. We are a family of 3 (with 1 baby). - Easy to check-in, the instructions were clear. - Location is good, it's a 10 minutes walk from the Hualien station. Quite a few eateries, coffee shops and grocery stores a few minutes walk away. - Nice kitchen area on the ground floor, which enabled us to cook some food, make coffee, wash our dishes and even had a steriliser for our baby's bottles. - Wifi was good throughout. - Lift is available in the property. - Our room had a queen bed and a single bed. Beds were comfortable. - A complimentary fruit platter was in the fridge upon our arrival, which is a nice touch. - TV had Disney+, Netflix (all logged in, so we didn't have to use our personal creds)

Spacious, clean, comfortable and modern room, in a quiet location close to bus and train station. Very much appreciated the daily fruit platter – a lovely gesture by the owners who always responded promptly to our messages, Highly recommended.

Getting into the property was problematic. The front door was locked and required a code, which I didn't get ahead of time. Luckily I had a phone with connectivity and could call. Even then, the owner had to get someone to translate. Once we got in, we found that our room wasn't ready. I called the owner again, and she said to take another room. That room wasn't ready either. Finally the maid showed up and our room was ready an hour after check in. We never did see the owner nor did we see the maid again. It was weird.

The beds, shower, lighting were all good, as was the property 's location relative to the main commercial area and the train station. In the common area bottled water was available as was a refrigerator.

The bathroom and shower are very great except the shower has a narrow section which is a bit awkward but not reason not to stay here.

Stayed in the double room 302. It was very comfortable and had a calm atmosphere. The view to the mountains was pleasant and constantly changing. Overall the value was very good.

Everything was good.

Our room was clean and spacious and the twin beds were comfortable. The guest house seemed very new and fresh and it smelled lovely too. We chose the location because it is close to the train station. There are some good places to eat around there too, but we caught a taxi to get to the ocean front promenade. We appreciated the fruit platter and the concern the owners showed us when there was a severe typhoon approaching.

We were in Hualian on the day of the earthquake. The building is new, so it's stable and robust. There was no major damage to the building. It's super easy to get to the train station and Family Mart from here. The hosts were very kind and helpful to help us arrange for a room at a good price when we were stuck in Hualian for an extra night. Thank you for your help!

Very convenient location less than 10 minutes' walk from the train station. Very clean rooms, and loved the fruit platters for each room. The free laundry was also a very nice amenity (though the clothing dryer doesn't work very well). Would definitely recommend as an affordable, comfortable place to stay in Hualien.

The room itself was quite old but that's the only small minus, everything else was great.

The location is close to the centre and the main station. The check-in is well organised with clear instructions. The place had all you need for a stay, including a plate of fruits served in the morning. There is a washing machine and refrigerators to be used.

It was a beautiful and clean property, with easy instructions from the owner prior to my stay. They were helpful and responsive to my questions. The facilities were excellent, as well as a shared kitchen area. It was very close to Hualien Station and to convenience stores.

The host was amazing. They ensured we had a good stay, provided free fruits daily, excellent cleanliness, and a good location (near the city). Even though the host was Chinese, they put efforts into communicating with us in English to ensure we had a good stay.
