Shower water pressure was a little weak.

Great location, right next to Dongdamen Night Market. The hotel is right by the water where there are bike trails, and nearby is a bike rental place. I stayed at the street facing rooms, but for the cheaper price I think it's incredibly worth it. Self check-in and check-out and was seamless.

Wifi was slow in the room (10mbps) but at least very stable. Had to get a bit of work done and it wasn't ideal but worked perfectly downstairs!

Everything was perfect from start to finish - we were able to securely drop-off our bags in the shared area (only accessible via QR code). Large kitchen was nice, has filtered water station, but not very well-equipped, lacking utensils (honestly soooo common in Taiwan). Bedroom we had was great, lovely view. Comfortable bed, great shower, not a bad couch. Very accommodation staff and easy to reach via Line (in Mandarin).

It’s a bit annoying to have to use my phone to generate a QR code just to unlock the room. I even had to take my phone to the toilet, otherwise I’d be locked out.

Quite a good location with a sea view from the room. The room is very clean, and it’s very easy to find parking nearby.

The elevator rides up to 6th floor. Needed to carry the luggage’s and walked up two flights of narrow stairs. Not easy for older people.

Great location. Walking distance to night market and farmer’s market. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance. We were given a room that’s the entire floor 8th floor with window view of the Pacific Ocean.

The bathroom was small; no place to hang clothes. The table in the room was really small and I have to put most my stuff on the sofa (which is very lumpy and not comfortable to sit on).

Love the ocean view and just a few minutes walk to the boardwalk. Also, 5 min walk to night market and 10 min walk to day market. The owner is super nice.

The room was super clean and the view to the ocean was amazing. We had to arrive very late and contacted the owner ina dvance, we waited for us and still received us very friendly.

If you plan on staying here, I strongly recommend having a data plan on your phone. I didn't have one and so checked with the host before I travelled whether I could access the front door without internet - whether I would be able to access the Wi-Fi to get the QR to unlock the front door. I asked this in Chinese and English and was assured it would not be an issue. When I arrived, I found (not really to my surprise, despite the assurance) that the Wi-Fi password was locked safely behind the door I needed Wi-Fi to unlock. Genius. I had to ask the (very helpful) manager of the hotel opposite for HIS Wi-Fi password, and pray that the signal was strong enough to carry across the street. I got very lucky and it was. Once in, I then had to hope the ground floor's Wi-Fi access was strong enough to carry to the top floor where my room was located so I could get in there, or ride the lift up before the QR timer refreshed (again, after two attempts, I was in). Then my bathroom was outside the room - not a problem in itself, especially if you've got a key or a fob for the door (which these rooms don't have) but to avoid risking being locked out, it meant my phone accompanying me in the shower every morning; not an ideal environment for electronics. So ends my adventure being trapped in QR Hell. I appreciate that the host wants everything apart from the cleaning to run remotely but this kind of service is not for people without Taiwan sim cards or international data plans.

With a sea view, and direct access to the seafront, there is not much that could be improved about the location. Very clean rooms and decent Wi-Fi (once you have the password!). The kitchen on the ground floor is well-equipped and has a hot/cold water dispenser. I appreciated the really high-quality vacuum flask in my room as there was no kettle, and it kept the water hot for coffee in the morning.

Door key system let's the property down. It's temperamental and seems a challenge to open your room door.

The name of the accommodation suggests breakfast (besides bed). However, there is no breakfast. Thus, homestay would be a more accurate & appropriate name.
