Great location, clean and spacious room with a comfortable bed and very friendly owners. There’s coffee, hot and cold water available in the downstairs living room. Parking available in the front and many restaurants, shops and supermarkets in the area.

Unfortunately, my partner and I got some (bedbug?) bites after sleeping for 2 nights in the room. Maybe the bed was not so clean. The aircon was also making noise when turned down to low fan speeds, but this is just a minor point.

Overall I liked the place's location, rooms were spacious enough, bathroom was fine. The husband and wife who own the place are super friendly - they lent us bicycles to ride around town which was super fun! Thank you so much :)

Would've been great to have had a mini fridge in the room

The hosts are incredibly sweet and lovely people. I requested a late check-in and they were very accomodating as well as understanding when I ended up having to arrive even later than I originally expected because of transportation issues. On the day I checked out, one of the hosts kindly offered me a fresh green onion bun while I waited for my taxi. Although my Mandarin is very limited, it was very nice chatting with them. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and modern. One of the nicest rooms I've stayed in in Taiwan while still being reasonably priced. The shared common area and outdoor garden on the first floor is a cute space to hang out in, and they have a coffee machine and water refilling station that are free to use. The location is a little farther out from the city center, but many of the main attractions in the city are still within walkable distance (30 mins or less walk).

We were warmly greeted by the host outside the home stay, the host and his family always provide assistance and answer any questions to ensure we have a comfy stay and could enjoy Hualien the fullest.

The place was very clean, nice, peaceful and cosy, but the staff is the most important part. The host lady went above and beyond to help us when we were stuck during a super typhoon in Hualien, gave us food and helped us immensely with finding the right way out of Hualien in time - even went with us to the station, since we didn't know much Chinese, for which we were immensely grateful. Beautiful people with beautiful hearts, they will always make you feel right at home. Of course, I recommend with all my heart.

The only thing missing in the room was a mini fridge.

We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay again! The room was big with mountain view, the bed was super comfy and everything was new and well kept. The owners are very sweet and tried to help us with every wish despite the language barrier. There are convenience stores close by and a shopping mall is right around the corner. It takes roughly 10min by car to get here from the train station.

Everything was perfect. The hosts are very kind and helpful. They help you in any matter! The house is newly renovated and clean. The location is good, it's close to some supermarkets and there is a very good traditional breakfast shop nearby. Every room is air-conditioned, there is a water dispenser for hot and cold water, and there is a coffee machine for common use. It's a little walk to the restaurants in the city center or to the famous Dongdamen night market. One day we wanted to go to the Shapodangxipan waterfalls, so the hosts borrowed us bikes, which was very nice. It's a 30 minutes trip from here. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Centrally located with access to many choices of restaurants, services and shops, all within walking distance. We walked to the Dongdamen night market without issues. The property was clean and the garden was lovely. The owners were very helpful, kind and responsive to our needs.

That we couldn't stay longer

The staff were the absolute best. They did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. Language barrier but we communicated through google easily and the most loveliest people you will ever meet. Amazing rooms, very clean and tidy. My partner and i had a room and both of my adult kids had a room each and the rooms were perfect. Definitely one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at.

The pillows were really flat so i would suggest either changing it or have four so we can stack up two for each person.

The place was really clean and new. If you drive, they will help you to save a spot in front of the place.
