The homestay is close to TRA but a bit away from downtown, but I'm okay with that. The boss man is super friendly and even with the language barrier because I only speak English he still tries to share information with you. Definitely one of the friendliest people I've meet. Really enjoyed the stay. Super soft beds too.

It is on a corner so there can be some nighttime noise from vehicles. Could be an issue for some. We were fine.

The lady who runs it is amazing. She has the interests of her guests at heart and goes above and beyond in making your stay as pleasant as possible. We were greeted with coffee/snacks, then given fruit and before we left a Louisa’s coffee. How generous is that?! to The language barrier was not an issue as she is an expert using Google translate!

Clean and comfortable accomodation just 5 minutes walk from train station. The owner was very nice and friendly, gave me some good advice for my stay in Hualien. The room was very spacious with a nice bathroom and balcony. I highly recommend staying here.

There’s no elevator but the host helped us carrying the luggage upstairs. The water boiler made weird noises

Super noisy during the day with lots of motor scooters buzzing around. Thankfully this improved a lot the later the night went so overnight was generally ok No other problems

Good location near bus & train station Excellent high pressure hot shower Fantastic hosts. Due to rain I was driven to the station when I left & given some little cakes Real orange juice on arrival was great too Bikes to borrow I've stayed in 9 places so far in Taiwan & this one has the best bed. The rest have been acceptably hard or worse. This one had some softness about it.

Best hosts you could dream of ! They were very warm and cheerful, giving you plenty of advice to discover the city and its surroundings. The bikes they provide are very convenient to explore the city. The homestay is 5-minute walk from the train/bus station which makes it a very good location for backpackers.

No! There is no single thing I didn’t like about this property. Everything was very good

I like everything about this property. Walkjng distance with the main station. We checked in late at 11.45pm but the owner patiently waiting for us, greet & welcomed us with smile. A very kind-hearted person, both husband & wife of this homestay. The room is spacious for the 5 of us, very warm. The bed is very warm, washroom clean, and everything is very good.

Location was <10 mins from hualien train station. There are many 7 eleven & family mart nearby. Owner was kind enough to wait until we arrived at 11pm (we informed the owner of our arrival time, best to do this). Room was spacious (by far the spacious room as compared to my stay in ruifang and keelung). Water heater was working, mineral water & toiletries are provided. Owner let us leave our luggage after we checked out. Basically everything was great. We met both the husband and wife and both were great hosts!
