The only thing that was a little is disconcerting was that we were greated both nights at reception by a young girl wearing a short skin tight black sequin dress. She was very sweet and helpful but seemed ready to go out clubbing.

This hotel was great to stay in, it felt very comfortable. The lobby was cozy with a fire in the fireplace and soft chairs. The bar, right off the lobby, was wonderful. The bartender was friendly and they stay open late. Another highlight at the bar is they have bar snacks menu that includes "Make your own s'mores". Breakfast served buffet style in the bar provides good choices.

As I've read in other reviews, the breakfast is quite disappointing; and doesn't really accommodate dietary needs, such as gluten/lactose free. We were more inclined to step out for coffee/breakfast in the mornings because of it. The shower was very small and quite awkward to navigate.

The location is fantastic, as it is walking distance from many restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and the main street of Stowe. The staff were very nice and attentive as needed. We arrived on a Saturday night when the place also serves as a bar/music venue; I was concerned about the noise spilling over into our room right above the bar, but the noise cut off exactly at 10:15PM and did not bother us the rest of the stay. The rooms themselves are simple, but have everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. The lounge downstairs with sofas, fireplaces, complimentary tea/coffee/cider is what made the place quite special.

We didn’t love the breakfast.

Centrally located property with the ski lodge motif. Check-in was efficient. The rooms are on the second floor mostly. There is no elevator. Some older guest were complaining. The hallways are slightly narrow. Not a problem for us. Our beds were extremely comfortable. good pillows. Proper climate control. Strong shower pressure. We did not care for the breakfast. We’re more pancakes and eggs people, rather than the served overnight oats and yogurt people. I enjoy the hot tub. The lounge downstairs Was stocked with games and lots of card tables. We spent two evenings down there having fun. Last night a folk band came and played. They were good. Overall, I would stay here again.

The bedroom was a little small in comparison to other rooms we stayed in on this vacation, however, it suited our needs for 1 night. Whilst generally clean the room would have benefitted from a good deep clean round the edges

Great location with ample parking options. Breakfast was absolutely great for us with plenty of healthy options and great Nespresso coffee. Complimentary water in the room was great with access to coffee, tea in main downstairs area. Very comfortable and quiet area with plenty of seating options

Our AC unit was so noisy we had to turn it off and had to sleep warm.

Our room was situated above the lodge bar. The first night there was music playing until 10.30pm - this was ok. The following night music played all night until 5.30am - not a good nights sleep!

The room had minimal counter space, and the room never got cleaned throughout the week stay (they told us to remove our door sign when we wanted the room serviced) to our surprise after a long day of hiking, we had no fresh towels or wash cloths. We texted to get more towels (thinking they would bring us a fresh new set for the room) and she arrived with 2 towels (not even enough for 3 guests). We also had to have the trash requested to be picked up, as it felt like there was no proper space for it. Loved the family-owned feel to this place, but for the price we paid- we would think basic needs like that would of been in rotation. Breakfast was also not a hit for our stay, by 9am most food was gone- so get there early.

This place had a cozy feeling, and I can tell during the winter, I bet this place thrives! It felt like a true ski resort; the games and Loding area was more than expected. The rooms felt like mini apartments. LOVED the texting option with keeping communication with the front office. Easy & convenient!

The ONLY critique I could make is that the sofa bed in the lounge was not as comfortable as the main bedrooms bed.

We stayed in the trail house, which was beautifully decorated and spacious overlooking the pool. It had the cabin feel but modern. The staff were very accomadating and the breakfast pastries were so delicious! My kids loved the hot chocolate station and the board games that were in the lounge areas The cabin had a refrigerator (a microwave would have been fab, but the lobby area had one) The location is perfectly situated in walking distance of the quaint shops in Stowe.
