While sharing facilities was not an issue this time, it could get odd at times. But the site is just to rest and plan, so the facility is great for that and easy access to transportation. Easy walk to Harvard or Central Sq. subway points.

Ben’s place is located in a quiet neighborhood, about 12 minutes walk to Harvard square. The house is very clean and spacious. I had a good night sleep and was able to make some breakfast (spent some time locating where everything is, wish a different pan to fry the eggs). Thank you Ben for hosting me.

The shared bathroom was not ideal as I was traveling solo and didn’t know the other guest. There were also some issues related to said other guest— she kept turning the heat on even when it was 83F out during the day, making my room uncomfortably hot when I returned from conference activities each night… She would also turn all the lights on in the kitchen/living area late at night and then not turn them off when going to bed. I don’t blame the host at all, but just a warning that you can’t predict who might be in the other guest room and how it might affect your experience.

I didn’t meet Ben in person, but Anya helped me get settled in. The house is nice with some common spaces available, and the guest room was great with a very comfortable bed. I appreciated the generosity with breakfast food, snacks, and treats provided.

The entrance requires a bit of navigation—guests enter into a compact 3x3 foot vestibule before ascending interior stairs to the main living space. Shoes must be removed before going upstairs, which some may find slightly awkward. Additionally, designated hooks or a hamper for used towels would be helpful for longer stays.

Bedroom: The bedroom exceeded expectations with its comfortable bed, abundant pillows and blankets, and practical amenities. Bedside tables with reading lights and convenient outlets on both sides made evening routines effortless. The standout feature was an impressive 4-foot dresser with 16 spacious drawers and a full-length mirror. The walk-in closet, complete with its own mirror and lighting, plus two comfortable benches, rounded out this well-planned space. Bathroom: Both attractive and highly functional, the bathroom delighted us with its excellent shower featuring a handheld spray attachment. We appreciated the generous supply of fresh towels, toiletries, and quality bath products including shampoos, soaps, toothpaste, and lotions. Common Areas: The living room, dining room, and kitchen felt fresh and modern with an inviting atmosphere. Ben's hospitality shone through welcome touches like fresh coffee, fruit, and a thoughtful selection of snacks stocked in the refrigerator and pantry. Host & Location: Ben proved to be an exceptional host—responsive, accommodating, and attentive to our needs. The location couldn't have been better for our purposes, with Harvard campus just a pleasant 15-minute walk away. Overall: This property delivered a wonderful Airbnb experience that we'd happily recommend to others visiting the area. Aftermath: My wife left her pillow behind. The host was very accommodating in returning it to us.

The location is excellent, quiet neighborhood and I really appreciated the warm welcome! The size of the room is also great and amenities all super clean. There was shareables in the kitchen and fridge. absolutely appreciated everything as I was on the move and had long meetings every day. The place is also very quiet so you can get work done. Communication was prompt and I got messages to check on my needs which I really also appreciated alot. overall, 5+ star.

Nothing really. I originally thought we were renting the whole apartment but it turns out we were sharing the apartment (and the bathrooms) with the other bedroom in the apartment.

The apartment is gorgeous, clean and spacious! The host was very attentive and made sure to meet us in person and give us all the information we needed. Location was great too!

Ben's home was a great place to stay while I was in town for a conference. The location was great - quiet and residential but only a 15-minute walk from all the action. The home itself was beautifully decorated and extremely cozy! The bed was so comfortable, especially after a long day of conferencing and networking. I'd recommend this stay!

It was wonderful to stay at Ben's house. We stayed there for 4 days and it was very convenient to travel to Boston or get to Harvard. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and the house is very clean. We highly recommend staying at Ben's place. Communication with Ben was very pleasant and he gave us recommendations for Boston and the area.
