How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Very very bad insulation between room! There was lots of noise coming from above and sides! The guests were not doing anything wrong just bad insulation!

Our room experience was highly disappointing, and given the high price we paid, the quality was unacceptable. Upon entering, we were hit with an overpowering odor of chemical cleaners that was strong enough to cause headaches. The bathroom was not properly cleaned; specifically, there was hair from previous guests in the bathtub. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress felt old and hard, making it the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in. I had to resort to putting a couch cushion on the mattress just to attempt to get some sleep. Beyond comfort, the room itself was in poor condition, with chipped paint on the walls. Noise was a major issue. The walls offer zero soundproofing, and our proximity to the main exit door meant we were constantly disturbed by loud foot traffic and doors slamming throughout the night. This combination of discomfort and noise made for a truly miserable night's sleep. To top it off, the complimentary breakfast was below average compared to what we've experienced at similar hotels. Save yourself the headaches, disappointment, and a crappy night's sleep—upgrade and go somewhere else.

Verified reviewBooked through booking.com they didn’t send correct billing info so got charged twice. Staff corrected it. Neighborhood not the best. Rooms were ok. Trash was never dumped in rooms we stayed for 3 nights. The ice bucket sized trash cans were full within the first hour of our stay. The refrigerator in one of our 2 rooms did not work. The “breakfast” was the most disappointing. There were few options and was the same every day. I expected more from a Radisson Choice hotel. I have celiac disease and cannot eat anything with wheat, barley, rye or oats. The only food options for me to safely eat was hard boiled eggs, yogurt and fruit. Fruit was not an option either as there was none available Wednesday through Friday. One reason I chose this hotel was the name and the breakfast. I will not stay at this location again and will not recommend it.

Verified reviewWe were in town for a funeral and wake unfortunately and the employee that helped us the nights we were there went above and beyond for us. I just wish I could remember her name! She was so helpful for us.

They tried charging our card before arriving when it was suppose to be pay at property when we get there after I called and asked them if we can do cash and they said Yes. Cause I didn't give my name at the time of the call and they tried pre arrival charging my card when they were not suppose to and couldnt they were about to cancel our reservations without calling us and also they said that cause we didn't arrive till 9pm cause we were traveling that they were going to cancel to cause we didn't give them out names at the time of the first call. I didn't know we had to be there at a certain time or they'll cancel our reservations. [Nothing in writing on booking.com about it] it's a nice place but a little shady on arrival and the breakfast is nothing to write home about either and pool was broken

When I called back to request a refund, the manager was extremely rude, repeatedly interrupted me, and even hung up on me. She also refused to provide me with her supervisor’s contact information and showed no effort to assist or resolve the issue. The experience was very unprofessional and disappointing.

Not easy to locate. The room was filthy. The shower stall was handicap and no room to move as a standing person. The shower head hit me in the chest and not the head. The sink plumbing has exposed piping. The baseboards, curtains and flooring were not clean. The parking lot was crowded and felt unsafe.
