The elderly had different expectations of the place since they were expecting a usual hotel, they didn't like the location because of how cramped it was. But for us younger ones, it is just perfect to live in the central part of Hanoi old quarters.

We like how big the rooms were, we could even rent the whole place if we knew! We love how the rooms and fabrics were really smelling great, It is quite exciting for us and the kids to stay. But the best part are the staff, even though they weren't around, they were accessible to contact with 24/7, They were very kind, and very accommodating to us. They even booked a big van for us when we checked out and head to the airport, which is really a big help for us as a big family of 9, carrying a total of 17 luggages. Thanks to Ms. Tea, Mosey, and Ryan!

I think the projector in the room should probably be gone, it’s a bit too dark and doesn’t work very well with screen mirroring. At least that’s my experience.

Location, coffee candy, view outside the window, the host. This place is at the heart of the old quarter. It’s close to everything - restaurants, money exchange shops, cafes, pubs, the lake, the market … wonderful choice for first time visitors. Tea is an awesome host. She is always quick to respond to your texts and would sit down with her guests to discuss what they might do in the upcoming days and help them book the tours they hope to take. I’d like to thank her especially for her list of places for food around the homestay to try. I’ve been able to enjoy a variety of local food in close proximity to the property and basically became de facto the person among my group of friends who knows the most about the local cuisine thanks to this simple but rich Hanoi food guide. She is also very understanding and accommodating — when I thought I’d jammed the keys into the door lock, she came by immediately and showed me how it works with great patience. I highly recommend this place to visitors.

The property's location is right in the heart of Hanoi's old quarter, near a busy market. But once you step inside the house, you will quickly feel at home. The owner is very communicative and goes out of her way to ensure I'm happy during my stay. She sent me all the details and instructions I needed prior to my arrival which made it so easy. The room itself is impressively spacious, clean, and well-maintained. They even provide fresh towels, toiletries, and a convenient mini fridge in the room. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling on a budget who prefers not to stay in a mixed-room hostel.

My friend and I arrived in Hanoi late in the evening and were immediately greeted by a message from Tea, who looks after the homestay. Tea was extremely kind and helped us organise our travel from the airport, following which she picked us up and showed us around. The room was clean and the facilities were comfortable. The location was also extremely convenient and only a short walking distance from many main tourist attractions. I thoroughly recommend this homestay!

We had an cozy stay, the room is charming with huge window and amazing peaceful even in the middle of the Old Quarter. The location was ideal, central, with a lot of good restaurant arround. Street foods was tasty with the host suggestion.

The water pressure for the shower was not the strongest, but for the homestay's price point, it was definitely acceptable.

The homestay is situated nicely beside the Old Quarter, perfect for youths looking for bustling nightlife and street food. The homestay is well-maintained and equipped with great air-conditioning. It has essential amenities close by such as convenience stores and even pharmacies that operate till late. What makes this homestay feel exactly like a home, is its owner, Tea. Tea was extremely hospitable and helpful. She went above and beyond to organise tours and transport to Ha Long Bay, Ninh Binh and the airport. She even took time out of her schedule to have egg coffee and tour the Temple of Literature with us. Thanks, Tea for making our trip in Hanoi that much more enjoyable and smooth!

We thought we booked an apartment, but the living room and bathroom were also a walkthrough to the floor above, so it wasn’t really ‘ours’. But the bedrooms were nice and a pretty large, so we had enough room there. One of us most likely got bedbugs from a blanket, which was really unfortunate. Staff came and cleaned right away, and removed the blanket, and we didn’t have any problems with it after that - but still wish we could’ve been without that.

Staff was very helpful over whatsapp when we had a bunch of questions. Good location and in a quiet area. Beds were comfortable (although the futon was rock solid). Shower was nice, just remember to turn on the heat ahead of time. Refrigerator in both rooms.

It was a bit noisy. The floors needed cleaning, and the bathroom garbage needed emptying. Our bathroom was in the common area which we were not expecting
