The owner was lovely, very responsive via WhatsApp and helpful. This is a trendy location with a lovely coffee shop opposite. I am sure the other rooms look like the pictures, ours was the top floor one, and I should have scrolled further down to review the other rooms! Had hot water and everything you could need for a nice base to get around this area.

The bathroom is basically a shower wet room which makes it hard to keep it clean. Like all accommodation in Hanoi, they only provide 1 pillow and towel each, which to my western mind is not enough. There's no kitchenette in the 3rd floor appt. It's confusing paying in cash, especially because while travelling we had paid for everywhere else in advance and initally we weren't sure if we were being asked to double pay! We weren't, but it just caught us off guard when we arrived. We had been using Hanoi as a base for travelling around north vietnam, and the other times we had staying in the Old Quarter, and I would definitely suggest the old quarter for short stays in Hanoi. This apartment is in the French Qaurter, which isn't as nice or romantic as I had imagined. It's no mini-Paris, which is fair enough but it meant staying further away from the hustle and bustle of the Old Quarter may not have been worth it. It's still only about a 15min walk to the old quarter with all the restaurants and shops, which isn't far until you're doing it in 90% humidity!

Lovely apartment, ours didn't have a kitchenette, but otherwise comfortable with plenty of storafe space and lovely character building. Host is lovely and takes pride in the place. The apartment itself is on a cute lane with cafes.

Honestly we wanted to move after the first night because it really wasnt what we expected 1. The walls are not yellow like the picture its cream. It really made the room less appealing in real life 2. This is definitely more of a homestay than a hotel which i wasnt expecting because it wasnt written on the name on booking.com 3. The duvet cover had no filling we had to take it from the cupboard ourselves and fill it in + there were only 2 pillows and had to ask for extra which we did get 4. There was no bin and tissues in the room had to request 5. Its in an alley so no view from the balcony but really nice that theres good lighting Overall i think if i was looking for a long term homestay ensuite this could do but not for a holiday spot where u wanna treat yourself

It was a really good location, we walked through the centre a-lot of the times. The host was super friendly and helpful. Very good communication.

Homestay is located just few minutes walk from the Old Quarter and it's a very nice advantage. You'll be staying in a quiet neighborhood. There's a fancy coffee place just outside the door, very atmospheric. Rooms are full of light. Enjoy!

Ideal for the pick up near opera house where many busses stop. We arrived late and left early, so we could not really enjoy the place. Check in and check out was super easy with code.

The room is not what it looks on the pictures. As others have already reported the walls are not orange, but rather very pale peach colour. And we did not have the nice looking green tiles bathroom as it was on the pictures, but a different very basic one. The balcony is not a balcony, it’s a window with a fence. It is a shame that the accommodation is presented untruthfully. Honesty would be better as it overall looks really good and would still attract guests. But to me this left a bad taste.

Great location in a peaceful street in the night. Also very good communication and a clear check in procedure.

I absolutely plan to revisit AnNam Art on my next visit to Hanoi. If you appreciate nostalgic charm and a touch of antiquity, then AnNam Art is the perfect homestay for you. The exterior boasts an ancient house with stunning architecture. I stayed in the 301-Double &Desk apartment, and it was incredibly spacious, with a layout and lighting that created a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. Its central location is perfect for exploring the area. Furthermore, the host is incredibly supportive, and I even received a thoughtful little gift to take home

Room was old and dirty. Room didn't have balcony as promised. Hardest bed i've ever had. Like hard as rock. Aircon had only cooling mode working. Very noisy street and cafe downstairs. Noisy neighbourhood. Worst accommodation in asia i've been to. Not recommended.

WiFi works. Nothing else.
