The windows couldnt really keep the noise out, no elevator, but not a big problem as there werent many stairs

The owner, Moon, was very accomodating and made sure we were very comfortable. The rooms were also very neat and tidy. Place was very convenient and close to a lot of tourists spots.

with a family its a bit cramped for a longer stay. Not the fault of the place, but if you are wanting to stay longer, the room offers the space to sleep. Not really to hang out for a longer period with kids in it.

Ms Moon. She is so helpful and that is the best part. The location was ideal, in city centre. It's a great place for a short stay. Steep stairs but Ms. Moon took care of our luggage.

Room is very nice and location is perfect for many Hanoi Experience, specially Old Town. DIY is easier. And, very many power outlets.

The lady was so helpful and welcoming and even let us have free late check out! Also due to there being no lift she arranged for our bags to be taken to our room at check in and someone also bought them down at check out which was extremely helpful. Service was top tier and the room was lovely to would recommend

We stayed here with a group of 4 and it was perfect!!! Room was clean and comfy, and location was amazing. The highlight was the communication and helpfulness from Môn, we were able to check in late at night and check out late as well to suit our group (so lucky!!!). It’s the best experience we have had in terms of communication, wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend

The owner was so thoughtful; there were fresh towels and water ready for us each day. The location is absolutely prime, truly in the center of everything. We did laundry here for a fee, and she was so nice to fold it afterwards as well. Highly recommend staying here!

I liked that it was close to all of the action. The French cathedral was very close. The lake was a few minutes away by foot. Popular social media Banh Mi and Pho restaurant was just at the end of the block. Lots of great sit down and street food. Great hot shower and air conditioning.

Great location. Next to lots of great eats. Lots of delicious street food. Lots of restaurants. On the corner was an expensive excellent tasting bowl of Pho but the place was packed from 6 am till it closed in the evening. Most of the time there was a line. Within walking distance to the lake and the cathedral. Shopping of luxury goods to inexpensive goods were nearby. Liked that the money exchange was around the corner. The property was fairly quiet because you had to go down the alley. The room was modern and clean. Love that there was air conditioning and plenty of hot water.

The room was large and well located and clean and the ac worked great. Best of all was moon, she went out of her way to help us, as we were stuck with grab not working far away and she booked a grab for us to come back to the hotel and then to the bus station just in time to catch the bus! We would have missed it for sure without her! So thankful!

accommodation is located in the old city centre, good location and the rooms are clean! the host is also really lovely. she helps whenever possible. you can book tours around Hanoi, cheaper than the ones you find on booking.com ;) recommended!

Everything was great!

Really large space and so quiet even though it’s in the middle of all the action. The balcony was nice, no real view, but for the price you can’t beat getting a balcony!

There's a lot of shops right outside the alley way leading to the stay. 3-5mins walk to the cathedral. It's in a busy street but you cannot hear any noise when you are here. Host was really nice and sweet too.

I did like Everything! It was more than excellent experience. Moon (The Owner) was exceptionally hospitable and so helpful. She took care of us in our whole journey in the north of Vietnam. She helped us out with next destinations (accommodation, recommendation, trip suggestions, pick up drop of, etc etc etc) all the way along with us. Always in touch, making sure everything was going smooth and we were enjoying our journey…. No doubts I will stay there again and will fully recommend her to anybody else. Thanks again Moon.

We stayed at Moon Cactus 4 nights and it was great! PERFECT LOCATION in Hanoi.. we could walk everywhere.. Nice big room, hot shower, it was great! But the best was Ms Moon ! She help us booking our transfer, helping with the visa, pick us up from the airport and answered all our questions! She really is the best! We highly recommend this place and come back again if we plan to visit Hanoi!

It just needs to be noted that the stairs “could” be a drama to some people . In saying that, Moon arranged staff to carry my luggage up and down the stairs

Great location as it’s positioned within walking distance of many attractions Moon waited for my arrival at 3.30am and was still smiling when I arrived When this hostess says she can do you a better deal on travel or anything. Believe her ! She always checks on your well being Thank you Moon
