Our room was on 4th floor with no lift which meant a lot of stairs (and it was pretty hot), but we saw there were also rooms on lower floors.

We only stayed for one night but the room was comfortable, very spacious, with a huge bed, a kettle and there were some local guidebooks. The lady who is running this place was very friendly. Great location.

Alice and her family are the most amazing hosts. I’ve been travelling for almost 4 months across South East Asia and this has been without a doubt the best place. Extremely cosy, incredibly friendly, and amazing value for money. The location is perfect, away from the busy Old Quarter but still within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and clean. Very comfortable beds. Alice is a fantastic host; booked me a 3 day tour around Ha Giang, did some laundry for me whilst I was gone, helped me book a bus to Ha Long. She was willing to go above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough if you’re staying in Hanoi.

Alice and her family are so nice and welcoming. They were always ready to help and always did so with a smile. The room is super cozy and the location is very convenient! You can walk in any direction and get a great taste for Hanoi! I would defintely come back next time I am in the city centre of Hanoi! Loved it!

Great value for the price! The room was spacious and had everything I needed — full utilities, comfortable, and well-equipped. The host was very friendly and accommodating; she even let me leave my things at the property while I made a quick trip out of Hanoi. Overall, a comfortable and affordable stay. Would definitely recommend!

The room and hotel is actually quite pleasant. The only thing was that there was building construction going on next door which made very loud noise during the day. This is not the fault of the hotel, but still the noise is there. Once the construction next door is completed, it will be wonderful.

This property is amazing - the owner is so kind and will assist you with booking day trips from Hanoi, arranging airport transportation, doing laundry, you name it. The location is amazing as well, would absolutely book again.

Room was spacious and clean, so was the bathroom. The owner is lovely, helpfull and speaks very good english. A hidden gem. I enjoyed my stay and will be back :)

There was quite a bit of honking from the roads around the area which couldn’t be helped .

Alice the owner was in contact with very useful information within moments of us booking the room. The double room we had is spacious and airy with a huge tv. The property is tucked away in the old quarter so close to lots of cafes and restaurants. The room was very clean and contained a little tray of useful bits and pieces. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooftop could be arranged or managed with more accuracy and made more comfortable.

Nice room and bed with a comfortable topper. Very basic and simple but I don't need more than this. I enjoyed the relative silence. When the weather is cold you'll hear only the heating or airing system of a nearby big building but probably when it's hot the usual AC noise will be unavoidable, like in most of the accommodations in hot countries. However during my stay this background noise wasn't continuous. At times, I enjoyed almost complete silence, which is a big privilege in the centre of Hanoi. Anyway, no traffic noise at all. Moreover, the building's construction quality is good with no humidity and mould.

Alice (the host) is wonderful! Very helpful and a great communicator. The property is nice and quiet and kept clean. We even had a balcony! Alice kindly let us store luggage at her property while we travel other parts of Vietnam.

The shared bathroom was not cleaned daily despite being used by multiple people. There was no toilet roll and the floor was quite dirty. Also the stairs were not clean which was annoying as we had to take off our shoes entering the house so it meant our socks and feet then got dirty.

Alice was a lovely host and very communicative before, during and after our stay. The room was big and airy with lots of natural light. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very quiet and the house is in a nice location in the French quarter.

The rooms here are so cute !! Unbeatable ambiance. Away from the hubbub but not too far away. Great walk to the old quarter. But I slept so well here that I have even booked again to stay. Thuy is the best and helped me out a lot and her daughter is adorable.

Very nice place to stay few days in Hanoï. Alice is super nice and very reactive on WhatsApp! The room is comfy, small balcony and double bed. There is a fridge on the rooftop to keep few things fresh, appreciable. The city center is around 20/25 minutes by walk, but there is great coffee in the neighbourhood. Great value for money, we’ll definitely recommend!

Large and comfortable room. The alley is really quiet, so there is no street noise. It is within walking distance of the old Quarter (maybe 20 to 30 minutes). We could store our motorbike inside and leave some luggage.
