This is a family owned hotel and is great. Very caring and supportive. I arrived with some medical concerns and the family went out of their way to assist and assure me. Good location close to all the action but quiet at night. Very happy with my stay here.

Close to the old town but quiet at night. Very spacious room with high ceilings and had everything I needed. A really lovely host who went out her way to help me with postage, and buying certain things. I highly recommend this place to stay. I would definitely come back

I loved this place very much, the location is perfect and the room sizes were fantastic (I stayed in one of the apartments). Pearl helped and guided me with all my questions when I was there and did laundry for an additional cost as well as organise a car into the city for me. Thanks very much I will be back!

We spent one week here in a deluxe room which is more like an apartment with a living area, small kitchen, bathroom and a big bedroom with a balcony. The accommodation is 5 stars and the bed was very comfortable. Pearl was a wonderful host and took good care of us with laundry, booking trips and organising an airport car at a good price. Thank you Pearl we hope to see you again 😊

The hostess is really welcoming and super helpful with anything you need! We actually booked a different room that she gave us, prolonged our stay and she only charged us for the cheaper room. We had a lot of space and a beautiful balcony. The island is much calmer than downtown, which we really enjoyed!

The homestay was perfect. The location was a short 10 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the old town, which really suited us. The homestay was clean, comfortable and most of all super spacious. I can’t stress enough that the photos really don’t do the place justice. Furthermore, the balcony provided a great outdoor space to relax. The owner was very accommodating, she did our laundry very cheap for 25k vnd/kg, rented us bikes, booked us vip sleeper bus tickets, for much less than 12Go, and was very knowledgeable about Hoi an

We didn't like the cleaning at one point, but after we said something about it, it was fixed right away.

This place is definitely one of the better ones! My partner and I travel around Asia for 10 months and this spacious apartment was one of the best places we've had! The separate bedroom is top-notch, it even has a Dyson to purify the air quality. The bed is very comfortable and the balcony is a big plus for enjoying your breakfast in the morning. The wardrobe is even replenished with bathrobes and there is a large TV of fine quality. The kitchen has the facilities you need and if you are missing something, you can always kindly ask the host if you can borrow some more. The bathroom is clean and the shower is fine with hot water. The best value for money you can think of. Wifi is good & we worked here during our stay of 2,5 weeks and barely had any problems. You are kindly helped by Pearl who goes out of her way to make your stay as pleasant as possible! We were given advice on making clothes and because she has worked in the trade for years, she was able to point out the right tailor for us. Btw, for a good restaurant, go to May, just next doors.

Staying at Thuy House was wonderful, my husband and I really didn't want to leave, but it was time to move on. Great location, close enough to the center, but away from the city noise. Very spacious clean room, great view from the balcony to the palm garden, own kitchen, all amenities. The hostesses of the house, two sisters, are very friendly and kind. We felt at home, we were even invited to a family Christmas dinner. It was very pleasant and sweet. Thank you for your hospitality! We definitely recommend staying here

Thuy House was very spacious, the room was exceptionally clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the apartment was fitted with air-conditioning. We loved the cool tub, especially as we travelled to Hoi An in September, and it was steamy hot. When my husband and I arrived at our accommodation, the gracious hostess had a plate of refreshments for us. Thank you for taking such good care of us, and we highly recommend Thuy House to travellers who want to be within walking distance of the bustling Ancient centre of Hoi An. The apartment was spacious and clean. It was nice to be in walking distance to the old town but not in the very busy area. Pearl, the host is very warm and caring. She organised everything we needed, taxis, scooter hire, laundry and recommendations. She really made us feel at home!

We loved our stay here! The apartment is huge and it has everything you need. The wifi is fast and reliable. If you work remotely, you could stay here for months. The hotel is a short walk to the old town, in a nice quiet area, everyone in the neighbourhood was lovely and always waved when we passed by. We always felt very safe. Make sure to support the local shops that don't get as many tourists as the city centre. The beds and pillows were nice and soft. Great hot shower. There is a nice balcony to enjoy your coffee in the morning and a big table in the living room which is perfect if you are planning to do some work. The landlady is fantastic, she helped us a lot and she was always up for a chat. She organised a private car to go to Da Lat with a lovely driver, it felt luxurious compared to the collective busses and minivans you always find in Vietnam. She even gifted us half a watermelon! We had such a great time that we ended up extending our stay for 2 more days. Next time we are in Hoi An, we will definitely stay here again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a lovely family-run accommodation that was conveniently located not far from the city center. It was a pleasant and peaceful place, unlike some of the more hectic and noisy options in the area. The center, including the post office, was just a 14-minute walk away, and the market and night market were only about 7 minutes away. There was also a small minimart nearby, which was only about 4 minutes away on foot. One of the things that really stood out to me about this place was the owner's willingness to help with anything I needed or was looking for. They were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was as comfortable as possible. Additionally, something unique about this accommodation that I hadn't encountered before was the hot water system. There was a special switch that you could use to turn the hot water on and off, which was a feature you need to know.

We booked 2 appartments, but the first night one appartment was taken so we got a lousy double room with the family shrine. We negotiated a reduction of 200.000 while the owner wanted to give initially only 60.000 less. Appartment was never cleaned for 4 nights and we needed to request to change towels. Kitchen can hardly be used as pots are missing

The appartment is really great, big and comfortable. It was nice to have a table and a couch. The owner arranged cheap tickets for the memorial show.

I had to ask Pearl for towels and toilet paper, kitchenware, to clean the fridge and other requests, but they were all met. She unintentionally locked me out two nights in a row, which was a bit disconcerting. The lock to my flat was messed up, it needs replacing. The cushion covers needed washing, the sofa cover could do with a wash. Two pillows smelt of greasy heads, my water boiler didn't work, neither did the plug in the corner of the kitchenette. It needs some maintenance and TLC! Cleaning needs to be done in the corners, plugs were covered in hair and dust. I think someone had just moved out after a long-term stay and the flat was not returned to its original clean state. I think the other apartments were more pristine. The wifi was excellent in the dining/living room but weak in the bedroom and on the terrace.

Pearl is an excellent host, very kind, very welcoming and very generous. She gave me fruit, invited me for lunch and dinner, asked me to join her at her daily café. I loved the area, I give it a 10! I loved the spaciousness of the apartment, it is really luxurious to have two rooms! The bathroom has a large shower with masses of hot water. The wifi was excellent in the dining/living room and I was able to work from home. The best part for me was the terrace and the view over the garden and trees. Absolutely amazing and peaceful. I felt very safe (except when I was locked out!) there and very much part of the family. I recommend Pearl as a host 100% and I will definitely be back in her homestay. Thank you Pearl.

I can highly recommend staying at Thuy House! The place is amazing, not so far from city center if you have motorbike. The owner (Ngoc) is lovely and she can help you with anything. And there are those small things that make your staying special, like covering your motoribke when its raining or inviting you for breakfast. Thanks Ngoc! :)

It has a very good location, walking distance to the old town. There is a shop near by and also very cheap bicycles rent not far from this property! The apartment was great, big and clean ! The host was very nice, she helped us with the bus tickets. I would highly recommend to stay there!

I noticed hair and a mouse dropping on each pillow on one of the two beds in my room. I asked to move to another room. Which I did. I went to dinner. Upon my return I looked closely at the floor and noticed mouse droppings behind the headboard. I paid cash for one night and did not stay. I booked another hotel and left immediately.

The location is excellent! The host was kind and allowed me to check in early which was 2:30 pm by the time I arrived.
