Anh was the best host, we came very early in the morning - around 6am and we were so tired after the trip with the night sleeper bus, Anh let us checkin earlier and we were able to rest which I am really grateful! The place was very newly decorated, really nice new rooms and Anh was very helpful with everything.

Anh and her family are a genuine 5 stars, 10/10!!! We arrived early morning and were welcomed hours before check-in. Anh’s property is an interiors dream, and was in pristine condition every day. The location is prime. Breakfast was included - a delicious spread of home cooked options by Anh and her family. Anh and her son were kind, attentive and very informative. It was a bittersweet check-out for us, we won’t think twice about accomodation in Hoi An

I liked everything

Vang Anh Homestay is in a perfect location , within walking distance of almost everything you’d want to see in Hoi An, especially if it’s your first visit. The staff are genuinely lovely, friendly, and always willing to help with anything you need. The property feels new and very well cared for, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds are especially coz, some of the best sleep I’ve had in Vietnam! Highly recommended.

Newley refurbished all facilities are brand new and super clean! The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, a special mention for the wonderful breakfast and super comfy bed. The location is perfect for strolling around Hoi An old town! A 10/10 homestay with the most welcoming and friendly host!!

We arrived in Hoi An around 5:30 am on a sleeper bus and took a short Grab ride to the homestay. We had let our host know we’d be arriving early, and she kindly offered to store our bags until our room was ready on our first day. To our surprise, by 7 am she took us straight to our room! We were so delighted to check in early—and even more delighted when we saw how beautiful it was. The room was freshly renovated, spotless, and had a lovely modern bathroom. The grounds of the homestay are also gorgeous, with a charming European feel. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the old town, just a 5-minute walk from the river, lanterns, and main attractions. Throughout our stay, our host and her son went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants (definitely try Morning Glory—the original!) and things to see and do. Every morning we were greeted with a smile and served a delicious breakfast, with options like fresh fruit, omelettes, pho, and warm bread. On our final day, our bus wasn’t leaving until 8 pm, and our host generously allowed us to keep our room until we returned from our day trip. It made everything so easy and stress-free. Honestly, we couldn’t recommend this homestay on Hoi An enough. It was one of the highlights of our stay in Vietnam—I’ve already passed the name on to friends who are currently travelling down here.

We loved our stay in this newly renovated hotel! The location is perfect, being within walking distance of the waterfront, as well as lots of restaurants and tailors. Anh, who runs the hotel with her husband, is beyond generous and friendly, and cooks an epic breakfast. The room is clean and tidy, with a comfy bed and good shower, and has a great balcony. Would highly recommend!!

Initial room had an issue with AC(water was leaking) . They couldn't fix it and I stayed in that room for one day. So they offered me another room but I had to pay extra. Rooms are comfortable but they are old. Sheets are old too. Amenities like shampoo was in small packets. My main issue was there were no elevators(I knew this before booking). So everyday by the time i come down from 3rd floor, I would be sweating. But even with all the cons, I really liked the stay. It had homely feeling

The staff made all the difference. Everyone was very helpful. The location is just perfect. Breakfast was the winner for me. I booked this stay after reading many reviews about their breakfast and it did not fail me. The view from my balcony was so good. I sat there watching people for long time in the evening.

The host was sweet and welcoming. Helped me with stuff i can do in Hoi An. The stay is comfortable and clean. Its right in the town centre, helps to get around. As a solo traveller, its very safe.

Amazing stay! The room was so clean and spacious with AC. A beautiful balcony overlooking old town and lovely breakfast included. Cannot fault this place. Will definitely come back and highly recommend!

Absolutely everything was amazing for our stay! How this homestay hasn’t been picked up by lonely planet is beyond me! We felt right at home but with our own space, quiet, and luxury! The balcony rooms are well worth the extra so make sure to get one! It is about a 5 min walk to town, across from McDonald’s, and central to some of the top rated best places to eat in Hoi An! Bikes can be arranged for an affordable rate, laundry next door, & breakfast is divine! Perfect hospitality by the owners & their family! Honestly worth every penny and more! We have loved our 4 night stay and hope to be back in the future!

The location of this home stay is excellent, as it is an easy walk to the markets and the cultural attractions. The host family are a treat to deal with and are so helpful with taxis and bookings. They are friendly and cook a wonderful breakfast. I would definitely stay there again. The restaurants in the adjacent street have excellent, affordable local food.

Anh went above and beyond to ensure I had a great time. I did some early start trips and activities and she ensured that I had an early breakfast to go with despite it being before the breakfast sitting! My bed room was comfortable and roomy and had everything I needed for a great stay. It is centrally located but not noisy at night which is great.

Perfect location just on the edge of ancient town so you can avoid the crowds if you want. The breakfast, especially the banana pancakes was amazing! Wonderful hosts that make you feel at home.

Anh is such a warm hearted and welcoming woman, always made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast in front of the house was lovely and we loved watching life on the busy street. The room had a big balcony. The location is great and you can walk to the main area easily.

Great stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting us with booking tours and arranging our bus to the next destination. The hotel was clean, the breakfast simple but very tasty, and the location was excellent close to the city center. Highly recommended!
