Can't think of a single thing!

Everything - the location is perfect for exploring the coast; there is a gorgeous non-swimming beach just in front of the complex to enjoy early morning strolls; the apartment is pristine; the complex is so quiet and peaceful as well as super safe; the kitchen is stocked with everything one could possibly need or imagine needing; and overall Burger, Gabi and the Illovo Beach Apartments team are friendly, accommodating and just excellent.

Would be nice to have easier access to charging points in the bedrooms and a mosquito plug/repellent on offer. A Smart TV with access to guests own streaming accounts would be valuable too. An extra couch instead of wicker chairs would also be more comfortable. But none of the above would deter future stays for us :)

Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped for cooking and baking. Everything we could think of for cooking a 3-course Christmas lunch was available even if we didn't know we needed it! Loved the array of fruits, oils, spices, condiments, beverage station stock and snacks provided as welcome supplies. Housekeeping arrangements were made to our convenience as was key collection and drop off. The apartment was clean, relatively modern, spacious and beautifully decorated. Overall a very well equipped apartment but a really special touch to have board games in the living room too. Stunning patio area with gas braai and garden area. Easy access to the beach with stunning views from the patio, main bedroom and living room.

Easy check-in, the apartment was stunning. Nice views over the ocean and we even saw whales jumping in the morning. The facility is well equipped, wow!

There is n't anything I didn't like about the apartment , I mean we had sea view , which I appreciated every morning when I wake up. I truly appreciated all the amenities.

We received a warm welcome from Sis Ncamisile , she was very kind and friendly. Great location, really pleasant and clean apartment. Easy access to the beach , close to the Kingsburg shopping centre and 10 minutes drive to the Galleria Mall. Our kids were very excited about the apartment as it felt homely with their favorite channels on DSTV , Netflix and unlimited WIFI. Thank you Sis Gabi and Sis Ncamisile for making our visit amazing!!

Theres no major supermarket in Illovo, so you must drive out to stock up. The residents of Le Mer ( The Complex) are not friendly, and you could immediately see and feel who is residents and who is there on holiday for a few days...

Apartment was fully equiped and the milk eggs, fruit, spices and nibbles adds a very nice personal touch and covers the basics. Access to the private beach is great. Daily cleaning staff is amazing. The furniture and appliances in the unit is really of good quality and gives it the Luxury Accomadation feel which we really appreciated...value for money

Main bedroom toilet was leaking after flushing,had to lift it up after use.,wished we had a window in the bathroom than a fan..TV was blocked on the first day and even on the last day in the morning.,but Gabi managed to sort it

The Place was amazingl,clean,kitchen with all the utensils that you need,nice pictures on the wall.We also had a visitor of a monkey that came in the kitchen window and stole our bananas🤣and we also loved how Gabi was so welcoming and assisted us when need her.Thank s so much Gabi we hope we meet again,and also also security officers.

It had a musty smell. There were additional charges like breakage deposit and cleaning fee to the price stated when booking

The amount i paid i would have liked a tumbledryer in the unit and aircons. The wifi had alot off issues and could not be resolved. Other than that all where good.

Unit where clean and had alot of exstra appliances. Cleaning ladys did an awesome job. Close to the beach.

Please install air conditioner some rooms don't have which is uncomfortable and your WIFI must be free why paying if other hotels offer it for free, include netflix also.

the property looks amazing and have most of things that one get require when on holiday, and is very quite, staff is welcoming, place very clean and organized

Being given an apartment with a terrible view of the back of the neighbouring property , when it was clearly stated when booking the the apartment had a lovely view. There was no Aircon in this apartment all photos show Aircon units in apartment. After complaining twice we were moved to an identical apartment but with a Seaview and aircon. Why would you put guests in your worst apartment when the others weren't occupied ? Misleading advertising as far as the first apartment was concerned! Unable to swim in the sea on a very hot weekend (contaminated water obviously not your fault, as we are locals we knew about this however the lady who handed over the keys and showed us the access to the beach failed to point this out ) we were looking forward to the swimming pool only to find a slimy mess!!
