This place was well appointed and very well managed. We thoroughly enjoyed the location and peaceful surroundings which allowed a proper rest. We enjoyed the dinner on offer.

I liked the friendly staff. Celebration and Sharon are a delight. They are so friendly and we all had beautiful conversations with them. The breakfast was also great. The rooms were big.

Great location in Hazyview with easy access to KNP and Panormama route. Warm welcome by Sharon. Delicious food by Thabiso. Amazing views and scenery with a relaxing vibe. Great evenings sitting around the boma.

They are not a self-catering guest lodge, so bringing takeaway meals in the evening isn’t practical, as there are no microwaves in the rooms. While the bar and lounge remain accessible at night, the kitchen is locked after hours.

I absolutely loved the location and the peaceful atmosphere. The host was incredibly friendly, and the staff made us feel very welcome. The property is stunning and extremely comfortable — we truly had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was a highlight, with a beautifully set table and breathtaking views.

Nothing- truly got my money’s worth.

The property is centrally located to a lot of activities, as well as the mall and restaurants. The property also makes for a great staycation- it is very peaceful with spectacular views.

Wifi was weak in the room, not good enough for business and online meetings.

Excellent staff and great breakfast and swimming pool; perfect location.

The only downside was that getting in was a bit tricky, and the location was somewhat tucked away.

We loved the convenient proximity to everything, the privacy and tranquility of the location, and the kindness of the staff.

Fantastic breakfast. Fresh fruits and all kinds of bread, cereals and hot choices. A well equipped help your self bar with beverages and snacks. Great wine choices. But the best is the relaxed atmosphere, a clean pool….

This is an absolutely gorgeous guest lodge, with beautiful gardens, a pool, and beautiful views of the valley. The room was beautiful and 5 star. People were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed working and relaxing at Abangane and had quite a few good meals at the restaurants close by at Perry's Bridge in Hazyview.

I stayed outside Kruger at Hazyview. I was so happy with my decision. Margrit prepares fabulous breakfasts or packed breakfast if you are off on safari ( which I did) this is perfect location for self drive to Kruger as it is only 10 minutiae's to the Phabeni Gate. I was so p,eased to stay outside the park so that I was able to explore the 3 Rondanelles and some beautiful scenery in the mountains nearby. There is also a great bush bar and some restaurants just 5 minutes away. The whole experience was positive despite my initial reservations of self driving. I flew Cape Town to Kruger ( Nespruit) and hired a car . The drive to Abangane Guest house is about 45 minutes from the airport. A small Renault with good clearance did the job.

Had an incredible stay at Abangane Guest Lodge in August. I went on safari and it’s a perfect location for entry to Phabeni gate. The property itself is stunning, the views are incredible and it was very peaceful and quiet. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the attention to detail was next to none! I would definitely recommend to stay here if you’re after some peaceful luxury!!
