We waited for an hour without someone opening the gate for us, But they told us they lost one of the staff members, Sis Thembi(Condolences to the family)..I wish they communicated to us that they’ll be no one to welcome us and what time would be convenient for us to arrive, No enough towels, Bar fridge door not closing, Food terrible! They should cancel breakfast all together and turn it to self catering instead, Bath tub had holes, If you don’t have straight transport, Don’t go there, There’s no Uber/Bolt, There’s cabs you wait for 10 hours, Very expensive cabs, We didn’t even know about such, We had to go around and ask, Worst trip I ever had, Not going to Margate ever again 😣

There was a bunch of soccer supporters there and they were very noisy and partied till late. This was not the staff's fault, no-one could intervene and manage them as they had a lot of liquor.

The TV is very small and DSTV connectivity network was poor The wifi connection was very poor it never worked for us Breakfast they serving it at 6-9 that's very early when you there to relax We arrived at 9h00 for breakfast and the lady moaned about that yet they only prepare on order it's nit like it's a buffet So if they knew that we were they they should have our food on stock but they were so upset that they didn't give us yogurt Day 1 everything went well we asked for water to dilute juice as itbis too strong they brought water day 2 when we asked them to bring water as well they showed us the water dispenser WoW But cleaninliness I give them

there is no enough lighting from the gates towards reception , reception lady always not there we had to call on arrival because we rand the bell and no one was responding

2 socket plugs not working. Some light switches levers cracked. Some casement windows in lounge have loose hinges.. Sliding doors sticks a bit.

Nice view . Nice DSTV that was working fine and comfortable beds. Clean towels and free tea and coffee. Friendly staff very accommodating. Hearty breakfast. Value for money.

Everything was awesome

We loved everything. 😍. My partner was just released from hospital and needed some comfort and care. The staff were amazing, the place was so comfortable, aircons worked amazingly. The swimming pool was beautiful and refreshing

They could clean the toilets better. In the passages it's very hot and stuffy - installing aircons could help. They could add more varieties in their breakfast options, because we kept repeating the same food for 3 consecutive days.

Our room was perfect for our small family of four. The beds were very comfortable and the aircon was working fine. The water was hot and nice in the shower. We really enjoyed the swimming pool. The Lodge is in a great location, closer to the beach and amenities.

Place is absolutely clean 👌. Just Booking doesn’t offer an option to choose room with a balcony (preference). Breakfast was always on time , a suggestion of change in menu daily (variety) would be nice. Could even have guests choose night before out of 3 options.

Love everything about the place, very comfortable, and clean, good breakfast and the host is amazing. We arrived very late at night but Thembi was so Awesome and sweet. The lady cleaning our room and making us breakfast was awesome. Love being at a place where the staff treat you so well and are so kind. Will definitely come back.

The wifi connection did not work for us but apparently worked for guests after they arrived and restated their devices. Unfortunately we had a bit of work to catch up on this trip - otherwise the wifi would not have been an issue.

Incredible breakfast, comfy room and gorgeous pool - all very close to the beach and fab places to eat:)
