Outdated furniture not very comfortable late night noise from neighbour. Leaking roof, and flashing bathroom light. Ants in kitchen. TV didn’t work and WiFi only available in one room

No complaints at all, we really loved our stay. If I could suggest any "Cheery on top", would be some air fresheners in the bathrooms, coz we needed to keep them closed when not around.

The chalet was clean, modern and well appointed decor. Very spacious, the kids also loved their room. We loved the tranquility of surroundings, with river flow views from the patio. Facilities also cater for family entertainment.

The location was perfect because most other activities are within reach, few kilometers. The resort has activies on site, one does not actually have to leave the premises.

The gym could use some maintenance and some updating, not much weight to work with but you can get the job done

Whole complex was very nice, staff was always helpful, location was great for us, about 10 minute drive from the phabeni gate and 5 minute drive to supermarkets and malls.

My stay at Sanibonani was nothing short of amazing. The facilities were really beautiful and really felt nestled in nature. The unit was spacious and really clean. There was a lot to do on the property as well as off site where the activities were not too far from the hotel so really convenient. We'll definitely be back!

I did not like what the housekeeping staff did, while we were still bathing preparing to check out before 10 they were sweeping the balcony it made us unconfortable and they were verry rude when we asked them to stop

Although there's wifi available but you can only use it properly if you're in the lounge/ kitchen area. The wifi is almost unusable in bedrooms. But it wasn't a deal breaker for us as our trip was mainly focused around exploring and outdoor activities for most of the time but for someone who thinks wifi connectivity is super important in the bedrooms, this can be a hiccup.

Overall infrastructure, cleanliness and calm all around it. Plus it's just at a 10 minutes drive to Kruger National Park. So essentially you're residing virtually in the park without having to pay for the hefty amount. The place is actually prettier than they show in pictures. Also, the chalets have their designated outdoor dining area on terrace with a brai facility as well.

Location, i thought we lost at first. The kiddy pools just being filled with leaves but overall kids have fun

The restaurant food was very mediocre and unfortunately there is only one place to eat at in the resort.

A resort located in beautiful surroundings, well equipped and clean houses. The massage company that comes in every day is fantastic and really inexpensive. We had a head, neck and back massage that was fantastic.

A number of things in the chalet were broken (stove, kettle) or hadn't been refilled/was missing (soap, kitchen knives). In general, the units looked like they had seen better days. We had help opening the interleading door between the two units we booked, and it seemed like that had not been done in years, by the looks of the insect graveyard in between the doors. The single beds were not great. Place could use a little mot TLC from the owners, but works well enough.

The resort is big and offers a lot of solid activities for both adults and kids. The chalets were situated along a small river, with a scenic mountain backdrop. There was a lot of space indoors and a fully equipped kitchen, which made it easy to arrange with our own dinner and breakfast. There are a lot of practical features like good blackout curtains, big screen tv, etc. Outdoor hot tub is a nice touch, although it takes a long time to heat up with firewood.

The bath in the family bathroom was old with lots of stains.

The kitchen is clean and well stocked. The fridge and microwave appeared almost new.

Morning buffet breakfast was absolutely appalling, a complete injustice to guests. It's not just about the absolute lack of options and the high cost, the very little we got was so poorly prepared, we were even given KOO tin peaches, there was no fruit salad, no granola, no bake options, etc. Likewise with the dinner buffet, no variation at all with chicken wings and fish as the only meat options. We had to drive to the nearby mall for dinner. It was sad to see international guests receive that type of food experience when SA has so much more to offer. Please do better. The restaurant staff also presented suttle notes of preference toward international guests but I will not get into this as the restaurant is already the one dysfunctional aspect of the resort.

Chalet was comfortable, pool facilities superb, river walk serene, close proximity to malls and Kruger National Park, family/kid friendly, chalet well equipped for self catering and good quality bedding. Would certainly go back and recommend to others as long as you are catering for you own meals because the meals are a disaster.
