Not child friendly much ☹️but they were understanding of the fact that we had little ones but as parents we didn't feel free for them to freely play eg with their soccer ball by the garden area as we had to consider other guests and noise they could make . Would definitely come back without the kids.

The hospitality and customer service from the host and staff was exceptional . Best for couples or teenagers if you are travelling with family but not young ones or toddlers . The place is beautiful , clean and morden . The host is 1 message away for any help you might need . Loved it 🥰

Only thing I can mention is the hot water. I had a bath to relax after a long day and following that was going to shower, at which time the water was not hot enough to do so. It’s most likely due to the size of the geyser but this should not be an issue in most instances.

Everything from its location overlooking the Kowie River through to its owners who were excellent hosts, for myself personally I found it to be an absolutely wonderful stay and will without a shred of doubt be visiting again for my next trip to Port Alfred.

EVERYTHING from The Host to The Staff, The Facility, The Location. The place is beautiful, don't get me started on the breakfast spread. My daughter can write a book or sing about how much we enjoyed it. ❤️💯

We arrived a bit earlier and the host was very accommodating and welcoming. The rooms and the surrounding area is beautiful and relaxing. The host made it feel like a home away from home. Breakfast was well prepared and so lovely.

Beautiful accommodation and stunning views. Everything was clean and the place serene. The breakfast was absolutely great and very filling. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Only stayed one night but looking forward to a longer stay next time.

My children didn't like that the bathroom door couldn't lock from the inside! But that didn't bother the adults :)

Beautiful and peaceful spot on the river, as well as conveniently located close to shops and other amenities. Loved our room, which included a loft area for our children. Cooling off in the stunning pool was fantastic, after the hot December days. Absolutely delicious breakfast - the fruit salad was so fresh and vibrant! And the hosts are delightful people - friendly and helpful.

Well positioned for restaurants and lovely views of Kowie River and lovely pool area with loungers , great seating area with comfortable beds and quality linen and 5 class breakfast served on each private patio by friendly staff !

Squeeky bathroom door. Shower looked great but is not practice as water spurts onto the tiles making it nery slippery. No face cloth hook.

Extremely stylish, attention to detail, access to support and input about the area, outstanding location on the river, generous breakfast at a small cost, pool and lounges, barbecue and some kitchen facilities, close to shops, very security conscious, in all, really delightful

Limited choice of places to eat at night if walking as unfortunately the night we stayed a couple of eating places were shut and others were very quiet. Advised not to walk to other side of river after dark.

Great hosts in an excellent property. Breakfast was especially great. Good location overlooking the river with different birds around the grounds. Good river walk into town.

Nothing everything was amazing

The breakfast was good and delivered right on time. The place was breathtaking, beautiful and peaceful views. The staff was amazing. If you need to unwind this is a great place to be, quiet, surrounded by nature, just amazing.

There is little to say. This was a superb stay-over with excellent facilities, comfortable bed and furnishings, outstanding breakfast, great situation, friendly host Ditte. Overall a very nice and upmarket accommodation worthy of another visit.
