The property doesn't have secure fences and gates, which made us a bit uncomfortable.

The place is very comfortable with all of the necessities required for an enjoyable stay. The location is a short distance from the Kruger National Park, which was ideal for our intended purpose and it is close proximity to a shopping mall, which was convenient. The host was extremely friendly, she welcomed us upon arrival and checked up on us during our stay. There was a security guard on duty during the evenings and a cleaning service during the day.

My family's stay at Kruger Park House was an unforgettable experience, highlighted by the warm hospitality of the host, Polla. From the moment we arrived, her attentiveness and genuine desire to ensure a pleasant stay were evident. The quaint 3 bedroom house is well decorated, with the wrap around veranda providing ample opportunity to enjoy the lush garden and the pool and it doesn't hurt that it is a stones throw away from the Phabeni gate. We enjoyed the personalised recommendations from Polla and especially the Wimpy voucher that added an extra layer of hospitality. Overall it was a charming and memorable experience.

The water issue, the town had a water pump problem that made bathing feel like an exercise. Hopefully next time we come, we experience the house to the fullest.

Love the fact that it feels like home, friendly host that recommends best places to check out. Donald the security guard very helpful and kind. At least during loadshedding there lights are on since they are rechargeable.

The splash pool can be cleaned more often.

The place is private, close to shops, and the hosts were very friendly and thoughtful, especially during the load shedding.

The pool is not nice at all. The space of the house is quite small and some of the facilities could use some upgrades.

The hosts are very friendly, as well as the lady who was taking care of us during our stay. the host Polla would constantly check on us to ensure that we were okay which is something we really appreciated. She and her husband are the sweetest people I have ever met.

What an amazing place, we loved it, very friendly. Clean, comfortable and a Beautiful place to stay. We would have loved to stay longer, but had to fly back home. Stayed here with our 3 teenage daughters. Spacious, beautiful seating area inside, but also on the porch. Fully equiped Kitchen, fluffy towels, soft bedlinnn.

That I had to leave!! The steps to the loft area are a bit steep. Great exercise, though! By day 2, I was a pro in climbing the stairs.

I took my parents and 2 nieces and 2 nephews ( ages 12, 15, 16, and 22) with me on holiday to Hazyview. Cindi greeted us when we arrived at Kruger House (tired after 2 flights from Cape Town) and took us on a tour of the house.. Great communication from Polla tracking our whereabouts in our journey from Cape Town. The hostess, Polla, and her husband Sampie, simply outstanding!! Warm, friendly, caring people. My Dad fell ill. Because I chose not to rent a car while there (mistake), Polla took me to the pharmacy after I obtained a script from my GP after a video call. She even arranged paramedics to check on Dad. She exceeded my expectations of a hostess. There were rusks, milk, coldrink, and coffee for us. She even arranged activities for the kids which they loved!!! Polla and I communicated daily, even if just to greet. She's a phenomenal woman!! She really is. She even baked a milk tart for us and other treats. Divine!!! I loved the hot water bottles for us (7 in total) placed on our beds. I loved that there was security every night. Donald even assisted in making a fire. We had Cindi to clean every day. She even made up our beds and changed bedding on day 3. Our holiday was made easy by these comforts. I loved the pool, the quiet. Going for walks. It's a beautiful place with a wraparound porch. We loved sitting on the back porch, reading and playing games. There was a washing machine, which meant a limit in dirty clothes to take home. The 3 bedrooms have their own bathrooms, which was a huge plus! There's an aircon as well! Will I be back? Absolutely!!!

Safety No Electricity Deceptive pictures

The property is located in a run down area, no security whatsoever. The pictures are deceiving and the couple Sampie and Polla will do anything to keep your money. There was no electricity when we arrived and they still expected us to stay in a house without electricity. We cancelled and asked for a refund and two weeks later they haven’t refunded us

Being made to check out prior to the set check-out time. The attitude of the owner after we left the facility was not pleasant in that she made unpleasant accusations and serious allegations against us, including making her place dirty.

Property was great. Mostly the one issue was an issue beyond the control of the host…Load Shedding 😥

Firstly the host (Polla) was amazing and went out of her way to make sure we are OK and shared information prior to our visit in terms of possible places of interest, weather, restaurants and even Load Shedding schedules. He staff was also very friendly particularly Donald the security guy. Finally, the facilities were amazing…You felt secluded, loads and loads of tranquil and it had everything we needed in Tema of supplies and more. The WiFi was exceptionally fast as well 👌🏿. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely recommend the place for families and friends 🙌🏿 Ohh we also enjoyed the small Pool in the evenings

Beautifully decorated, with so much eye for detail. Beds were made in to perfection, with a leaf and choclate praline to finish it of! The table was also beautifully set for the amount of people in our party, the lights were on, the fire ready to be lit…we felt so welcome!

The stairs leading to the loft weren't very safe for young kids as there was big gaps between the steps. They have a gate at the bottom of the stairs to stop kids climbing up but still I think the gap should be reduced

What a find! This place has a lot of character and is only 10 minutes from Kruger's Phabeni gate where we saw all the big game driving ourselves. It is located minutes from Hazyview's main commercial area and all the activities, yet it is in a quiet street with no thorough traffic so you have all the peace in the evenings. Polla is a great host, always smiling and makes this place extra special! No request is too much for her. We arrived around sunset and needed basic grocery items and she was quick to get it for us rather than making us run to the market. Cyndy, her cleaning lady was wonderful too as she did laundry, dishes even set the dinner table for us. Be prepared to get spoilt !

The house was lovely and in an ideal location for us to explore Hazyview and some of the local attractions before travelling north. Polla was a lovely host who provided us with lots of information and advice on local travel and arranged all the cleaning and security for us. There is an overnight guard who gave us peace of mind as well. The house is very comfortable and clean, with a cleaner who comes in everyday. There is a beautiful outside area where you can sit and relax or have a braai. Unfortunately it rained whilst we were there so couldn't make use of it! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay somewhere quiet around the Hazyview area.
