There was absolutely nothing that was off. The only thing that would have made it absolutely perfect was if the pool had been heated. But that is just a personal preference.

The location was perfect for shops and quick easy access to the Kruger national park. The airport was only an hour away from the lodge.

We could not get the wifi. Reception could not arrange it. We are very unhappy about this. We had to use our own data for all the days we were at the place. And upstairs rooms did not have lighting. and also, finding the place was very difficult as the house numbers were not lighted well. We had to face difficulties in all of this.

The property was good, clean and comfortable.

Communication from the agent managing the place was very poor (as other reviews have noted). To this day they haven’t replied to my questions on booking.com messaging service. It took 24 hours to get the WiFi password from them! There is no information booklet in the house that could have answered my questions (WiFi password, is the water potable and if so which tap as there were two in the kitchen sink). The agent was available by phone - with poor network - but non locals don’t usually buy an airtime sim (we bought a little for emergencies) so it’s not set up for non South Africa visitors. The agent also took a long time to respond to SMS messages. The agent needs to improve their communication offer and to provide a folder with key information in the house. The dishwasher was mouldy so we just washed by hand.

Fantastic house in a great resort location with lots of facilities to keep the kids happy. We didn’t use the restaurant. The property was comfortable and almost everything worked very well.

The setting was beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home.The rooms were spotless, cozy, and well-designed, with great attention to detail. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable getaway. I’m already looking forward to my next visit

as per above - the lack of attention to details - draws did not close properly BUT attention to details was seriously lacking, the towel had a hole, the extra duvet had horrible disgusting stains - if it was in my home I would've thrown it away, no bathroom floor mats on the 1st day, no instruction manuals for the lots of remotes, no wifi password, the main lights in the room doesn't work, rooms are extremely dark, no hairdryer

Upon arrival I contacted the agency to report that the following was not working. * No WiFi (Internet did not work fro my entire stay) * Microwave not working * Dishwasher not working * Tumble Dryer not working You pay premium rates for this property because of all the facilities. Not having these effected our stay and comfort levels. Worst is that we reported this on our arrival and followed by another three calls to the renting agency without any joy from the owner and rnr.

WiFi was advertised as part of the unit yet no one could give us the login details. there is a generator in the unit which was excellent but after purchasing R400 worth of fuel we realised that is was locked and the assumption is it’s only for owners then so I guess it’s our loss. they should at least put a note that the generator is not to be used by guests during load shedding to avoid people spending their money on petrol and not being able to start the generator, that was very frustrating.

The lights in the second upstairs bedroom are not good and the room is very dark at night. The 3rd bedroom has a strange smell at times.

Unit was comfortable and spacious, and the amenities at the resort were good. Loved the private pool.
