Being able to buy milk onsite would have been helpful. We had to wait for the mall to open before we could have our cups of tea. Some more vegetarian options in the restaurant would be good. I saw pizza , a mushroom starter and I think a salad. That was it for vegetarians.

So much space, loved the decor. Having a washer and dryer was useful. I enjoyed walking the trail around the grounds. Large mall just a couple of minutes away by car.

Property needed a little maintenance the roof in lounge leaked during rainstorms. Power outages during our stay. Not sure if isolated to kruger park lodge or a problem in area, but without back up power heat was unbearable.

Staff friendly and helpful. Private pool was amazing and well maintained by staff. Facilties on site great fun for the family.

It was comfortable and cleanliness is up to standard🫶🏽.We enjoyed our stay. Hopefully the next visit there will be back up for loadshedding for example; generator or solar battery inverter. The staff are amazing 🤩

(1) When I booked the property on booking.com the host emailed me stating I needed to pay a 50% deposit within 24 hours otherwise I would lose the booking. His approach came across as very aggressive and made me think this booking may be a scam - I have used this website many times and this was the first time I had encountered this. Just based on his approach I would have chosen a different place to stay but as I had booked late there were no good alternate options. (2) The host needs to provide equipment for load shedding. I understand that South Africans may already have their own equipment but guests coming from overseas will not have it and it is pointless to buy their own for a few nights stay. The chalet was already so well equipped so it doesn't make much sense to not provide a couple of portable lights, especially as load shedding seems to be a permanent fixture in the country.

The chalet was extremely spacious and well equipped with all rooms containing much needed AC. We had everything we needed including a private pool which was a nice bonus. A maid also came daily to clean which was a nice touch as well. The grounds were well maintained and we enjoyed walks around the golf course. Overall a good spot to relax and to use as a base for travelling into the Kruger National Park.

No TV the whole weekend. First night we did not sleep and woke having bites.under the beds was full of dead insects and webs 🕸 me and my husband had to clean to put our daughters minds at ease.

The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. near to the mall. Restaurant food and their staff was the best. The playing area.
