Comfortable room. Owners were super friendly and staff were helpful. Safe parking. Great location. Next to a busy road but did not bother us. We had a lovely view of the mountain through beautiful trees and the star jasmine made everything smell amazing! I actually liked that it was not serviced daily as it gave us privacy but would perhaps ask to supply rubbish bags and extra loo rolls for longer stays. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect location, so close to everything.

1. Loud domestic worker chatter outside the bedroom window early in the morning. 2. We broke a glass jar by mistake and needed a broom and dustpan and a cloth to clean up. We had to make several requests for a broom before one was located and brought to the room by the domestic lady.

Spacious rooms, great WiFi, clean, lovely pool, dog friendly. Watson is fabulous!

I had a situation where I had to check in quickly and not in a normal way. I was a bit concerned about upsetting the host but she was extremely gracious in making sure I could check in as quickly and efficiently as possible. The staff were very helpful and friendly with assisting us whenever we needed it. Above that, the facilities were clean and beautiful. The gardens and pool are kept in immaculate conditions. The kitchen is well equipped. The manor is very central and convenient for traveling. There's lots of shops nearby and Cavnedish is a 3 minute drive. Would definitely book there again.

The location was perfect and we loved the self catering service and privacy that the house provides. The facilities including the pool and braai area were clean and the staff were friendly and always available to assist.

Unfortunately, there were quite a big group of men in the guest house at the same time who tended to occupy the shared outside area in the evenings. I would've liked to be booked into one of the apartments with its own little outside area so i could still enjoy the beautiful weather without feeling a bit "boxed in".

I didn't book breakfast, but enjoyed the comprehensive little kitchenette that had everything i needed.

A small suggestion is to maybe install an extractor fan in the bathroom as it needs more ventilation. Also, to maybe include bathroom mats.

Everything was neat and clean and as expected. The location and security of the premises was excellent. Nice kitchen and good modern finishes throughout the apartment. Very good value for money.

Can't think of anything at fault!

Everything was spot on. Rooms were spacious, clean, and stocked with the essentials required. Beds were comfy and well made. Shower pressure was fantastic. Staff were welcoming. Overall, nothing more you could have asked for. Also perfect location for getting around the suburbs.

Locks on the windows were fiddly / useless. Lack of air conditioning did not bother use, but worth considering if it's really hot. Near a main road so a bit noisy.

The location is excellent - in the middle of Newlands and particularly good if you like cricket! Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It's great to have a pool. Secure convenient parking.

Unit was in earshot of communal braai area, and other guests who used it made a noise until after 23h00.

We choose the pet friendly unit (no pets), it was very private.
