The couch in the lounge was quite uncomfortable, with the cushions sliding off. The DSTV did not work for the entire time that we were there despite notifying the host. There is a stove, induction plate, microwave and air fryer, but no oven. The meal we had planned for the one evening required an oven. We had to heat it in the air fryer, which wasn't ideal. There could also be a dish or two supplied to use in the microwave. The shower is an open setup which is not so great. You end up with a very wet bathroom floor and the steam that is created, causes moisture to run down the walls. It is also very cold when the shower is not enclosed. I would suggest adding a shower door.

The apartment was in a good location and was spacious and clean. The bedroom had a very large bed and ample cupboard space. The kitchen was well equipped.

Absolutely everything. The owner Adri is AMAZING! As I struggle with stairs and wasn't well and it's our honeymoon he moved us down to unit 101 which is breathtaking. We even decided to extend our stay. What a divine place, facilities and owner!

Nothing but maybe people can take note of the following: - there is noise from the roof and adjoining apartment as other reviewers have mentioned BUT it's really not an issue - there are stairs to climb to get to the apartment - there is a short dirt road to get to the apartment. We stayed at Rueby's apartment 202 for two nights. - the apartment was very spacious and had all amenities you needed - the bed was very comfortable - the lounge area was very relaxing - you could either sit and enjoy the telly (full DStv, Netflix, Disney+) or outside on the balcony and enjoy the view - the kitchen was fully equipped - there is a lovely lawn area with seating under a tree if you want some quiet time - we took our two dogs with - there is plenty of grass space and it's fully fenced so there was zero worries - the host was very communicative and we had no troubles getting in or leavingz despite it being contactless -the water is from a borehole so it's very drinkable - it's ideally located behind the main road, only 2-3 mins from the shops or dam

Everything to the last details was perfect.

Beautiful Stay. Everything that you need for a quick break away for the hustle and bustle. Walking distance from shops and restaurants. Bonus for us; that Ruebys's Apartment 202 is pet friendly and our fur baby loved every moment and was even catered for (toy box and blankets were provided).

Just the constant contraction and expansion of the tin roof

Everything was absolutely perfect. The owner really went out of their way to understand what would make the life of a holiday maker easier. We will definitely be back. It's truly home away from home. We've recommended your place to many in just a few days of being there. The owner kept in touch via whatsapp as well.

Not affecting our review about Ruebys at all, because this is not their responsibility... but the road leading in is not great, but it is still easy enough to get to.

Very peaceful... beautifully maintained! The apartment is fully equipped with more than what you'd ever expect! Lovely walled property with separation fence between main house and apartments, where doggos can be safe. Adri is a fantastic host!!

It is difficult to find any fault here. Starting with a warm Rueby's welcome from Adri at very short notice, we enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing and comfortable few nights in this beautiful, spacious and very tastefully appointed apartment. We can't wait to go back again!

The inverter battery doesn't last long even though you switched off everything except the lights in one room.

I have been in all of them (house, both apartments), and they all have everything you need and more like spices for your cooking, olive oil, and airfrier. They have a gas stove, which is a good choice because you don't spend a lot of time in the kitchen, and you're covered during loadshedding. Stable wifi available, electric blankets, comfortable beds, fireplace with wood. Adri, the host is excellent aswell as the staff. They even provide umbrellas in case it rains, who does that....It is like our second home whenever we are in Dullstroom it is our first choice.

Superb safe location, close by the restaurants and other attractions - but nestled enough for a quiet retreat. There is a railway line close by, but we did not find it disruptive but rather that it added to the charm of Dullstroom. A cozy fireplace to keep away the wintery chill.

There is absolutely nothing to complain about and loved everything.

We loved the place. First and foremost the place is up to date and immaculate. The bed was very comfortable and clean as was the whole apartment. The kitchenette was very well equipped with thoughtful touches of welcoming rusks, tea, coffee and milk. The lounge area is spacious amd comfortable with a big satellite tv. I will 100% recommend this place. The person that guided us there and helped us were very polite and friendly. Loved this place

The oil heater in the bedroom did not seem to work.

We loved the space of the unit, the fireplace was excellent and kept us warm during the chilly evenings, the bed was comfortable and had heater blankets, there was an emergency light for loadshedding, free WiFi and smart TV kept us entertained, spacious en-suite bathroom with all amenities provided, and Adri was exceptional in providing us all the information that we needed and he had the fireplace going and the electric blankets heated up on our arrival!
