Everything!!! An unforgettable holiday it was! Edwin the host and owner of the Lodge was at my service ensuring that I get the best experience there is in Marloth Park/Kruger National Park. The place was spotlessly clean, thats is tastefully decorated. Animals walk around the property, the site was very serene and tranquil. Edwin assisted with booking transportation to and from the airport, he booked 3 of my game drives, and even cooked a traditional Braii. he drove me in town to get cash at the atm and shared his soothing ointment for my leg pain. Staying at Singwe was the best stay I ever had. I even get to enjoy the pool on my last day. Also thanks to Catherine, his assistant for always making my room nice and tidy and for doing my laundry! The property, the host and his assistant and the experiences I get at this place is top notch! Thank you!!!

Peaceful place to detach from the noisy environment we live in. Upon arrival we were expected and there were no check in hustles. Welcomed by wildlife we made our way to our clean room. The place is recommended for a quiet stay. The owner was very helpful and we felt like home away from home. During breakfast we were always visited by the wild animals. I would recommend this place to anyone who respects nature and wants to have a very peaceful stay. Once again thank you Singwe.

The owner was a valuable resource in describing the area. The braii area was spacious. We loved in the evening, putting out bananas and watching the bush babies come out...Impeccibly decorated and comfortable. We would come here again!

Exceptionally friendly staff, stunning and luxurious finishes, and impeccable attention to detail. Each room is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully equipped with a bar fridge and coffee station. The swimming pool is ideal for warmer days, while the spacious boma area is perfect for friends and family to enjoy a braai surrounded by the serene bushveld. It’s magical to see buck grazing right by the pool’s edge. In the evening, we were warmly greeted by bush babies under the lapa and the sounds of nature —a truly enchanting gem in the heart of the bush.

The caretaker, Edwin, was not friendly. He walked in and out of our private space throughout our entire stay, and was very hostile. He made our stay miserable, which could have been lovely.

The property was in good condition, clean, and great location.

There is no iron in our rooms, we have to ask for plates all the time, ask to use the microwave. You pay for using the Braai facilities although we didn't pay because there were people who were using the Braai so we asked to use it after. The shower head in our room is damaged, most of the water comes from the cracked part of the shower head, terrible bathing experience. No dustbin in the room would appreciate it if there was one. There is only one small one in the bathroom which is okay for the bathroom. Didn't like the fact that the owner is always there is like your being monitored and watched all the time, which takes away the fun of being there. I understand it's a new place and he wants to ensure all is well if only he can reduce his visibility.

Staff is very friendly and the owner. Enjoyed their breakfast for the entire 3 days. The environment is safe and clean. All in all the place is lovely.

Why must we pay to use braii area and or stand, I bought own charcoal why were we charged R150 ? Why must be pay to iron our clothes, why not have a common ironing area ? The place is good but you should specify such things before we pay , its a rip off, worse we understand its a no noise area but why are not supposed to play some music, they must fix this otherwise its a good place for sure

Our stay at this lodge was deeply disappointing. One of the most bizarre and unsettling aspects was being forced to go to bed early by the owner, who even threatened to call security on us. We were simply sitting in the living room, quietly talking no music, no disturbance. As paying guests, we expected the freedom to enjoy our evening respectfully. Instead, we were treated like children in a boarding school. At no point during booking or check-in were we informed of any curfews or strict house rules. The owner’s behavior was abrupt, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. What was supposed to be a peaceful getaway felt more like being monitored in a detention center. We would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable or respectful guest experience.

Everything looked amazing the problem is the owner controlling us like we are kids.
