I was under the impression there is a pool? There were only 2 cushions on the bed, only one bath towel? No kettle?

Check in was a disaster and owners were completely unaware, difficult to contact. Units are in desperate need of repair with taps, lights, a/c control and fans damaged or inoperable. Surrounding bushveld strewn with litter, building rubble and ash.

I enjoyed seeing the animals, the nature and I enjoyed the quietness.

We expected more from what we advertised. It was very expensive for what you get. Paid for the cleaning fee, yet no cleaning was done during our stay. The R500 refundable deposit was not given back. It was not clean - the fridge, bathroom, cupboards etc. There were cockroaches in the room!! Not much privacy. Noisy road traffic. The pool area was not clean so we didn't use the pool even though it was 44°C when we arrived. We just expected more from what we saw was included on bookings.com. They need to up their maintenance and cleanliness. This place has so much potential, very sad to see it like this.

The area of Marloth park was very cool. The wildlife was amazing, we saw zebra, giraffe, impala, warthog a few meters from our room. The smart TV was a bonus and the wifi.

The place is very quiet , the room was so clean and the staff is friendly.

The fridge didn’t keep things cold, the Wifi didn’t work. The shower in the first bedroom didn’t work. No dish towels. Staff did not come in to clean on Sunday.

We enjoyed the house as a whole, the pool was a lot of fun. The Airconditoned unit was great. The space was amazing: the beds were very comfy.

The place is not maintained. Our room roof fan was not working however wasnt an issue because there is an aircon however the fan had so much dust on it. The floor of the shower was dirty we had to shower with flops on. The tv had no remote and the wifi password left in the room was incorrect. I had to ask the other guests for the password. The other people were taking over the communal pool and we could not use it as well, there was no roster for braaing. The room further on was clean the glasses were very clean. The net over the bed does not work nice and you cant sleep with it. At our braai area at the back there was a lot of rubbish laying around in the bush. Also not private you share a braai area / stoep with your neighbours. Out neighbours were very friendly though.

I paid for daily service of the rooms but there were no staff to clean. The staff on-site were unfriendly and could hardly speak English. I would like a refund of the service fee I paid for.

Need to improve and adjust the doors they very noisy when opening and closing. The place needs to be fumigated number of cockroaches.

There were many cockroaches (size of index finger) in the apartment. I can tolerate a few but that was too much. When I approached the issue the gave me insecticide but they kept appearing constantly.

The manger is kind. The space is OK for two people. Kitchen well equipped with bbq. We enjoyed the visit of wildlife in the morning.

Took 45min to check in because the caretaker was MIA. Needed to make numerous calls to the owners, who had to try and get the caretaker there. Eventually a young boy opened our room door for us. There's no toaster, no soap/toiletries. All the appliances, cutlery and crockery are very cheap and flimsy.

Clean, no insects troubled. There is an aircon and inverter which always helps.

The info sheet in the unit speaks about cleaning service. No one ever came to clean anything. The unit's cutlery and plates are depleted to the point where we had to make other arrangements. The aircon in the one unit did not work at all. The stove is connected incorrectly so that the plates don't work like they should. The fridge is faulty. No toilet paper in the unit. The window's don't close properly. The backup energy solution only lasts for 5min. It would seem that there is an an overall lack of maintenance.

The units are comfortable and the swimming pool is a bonus.

Badly built, rotten doors, no table to eat at or prepare food, no TV, no bedside lights, kitchen window doesn't lock, broken shower door, cutlery incomplete very disappointed.
