Africa de Sud4 comentarii„Bland”Toilet. Place uphill making it hard to live or get around. No wifi connection. Pool was further uphill. No playing facilities for children.
The staff was friendly and it was close to lots of places.

Needs a powerful car like a 4x4 with an experienced driver. Cockroaches in the house. The fact that there’s Possible snakes outside as well.

The place is beautiful and clean. The caretaker is very friendly and available at all times.

No bedside table for the single bed. No mirror table Main bedroom No mirror table Bedside lamp cover was so small, it didn't fit the stand and didn't even cover the light bulb halfway (photo attached) Living room The couches and cushions are extremely old and the fake leather is almost peeled off completely, sticking to your clothing, and hasn't been cleaned in some time (photo's attached) Kitchen Curtains are really messy and dirty and stained, being too long for the window, and hanging over the dishes (photo's attached). Bathroom The shower continuously dripping after being used. Novilon/wall paper on bathroom floor is not properly secured, and just messy (photo attached). Poor lighting, and not even a lamp shade (photo attached). All furniture and curtain tie backs etc. are old and still dates back to the 90's. Even the wooden furniture in the stoep looks My daughter fell ill during the first night, and she fell in their room whilst vomiting. Suitcases have to be packed between the beds I notified the manager on the morning of Monday 26 June, that I felt my money was wasted on such a disastrous place. The owner blatantly refused to make any refunds. We are not the first people to complain or ask for a refund. The place is just way below any standard, and no value for money. Whilst we were packing up to leave for alternative accommodation, a couple that came in an hour earlier, also asked for a refund and left for alternative accommodation. As a single mother of 2 kids, this was a huge financial blow. R4800 out of pocket for the 4 remaining days not being refunded, I had to pay for accommodation twice, which I did not budget.

Firstly you cannot call that place a lodge, it is two log houses in a residential area.The drive way is ridiculous. The decor is absolutely out of date and untidy. The pool was not cleaned neither was the braai grill. On arrival cash was demanded, the lady even requested that we go straight away to an ATM, which is another 20 minutes out. We then said we can do an EFT but we had to wait for internet signal via wifi. We could not go out anywhere due to that driveway being so steep causing the car to over heat. When we asked if there was any other place we could park the reply was there was no other place. Even though the place is self catering there are no services eg making up beds,cleaning of bathrooms etc. We have dealt with Booking.com before and never had a problem however,this booking was very deceiving and would give you all a bad name. I dont think they should be on your list for holiday makers.
There was nothing we can say we liked.
