Wow!!! What an amazing place. Location is close to Groote Schuur Hospital. Love the wooden floors. Werner, is a super host friendly and very helpful.

There's no parking on the premise, but like many places in Cape Town you need to park on the curb.

I had a great stay at Werner's place, he is very friendly and accommodating. The room was neat and tidy with a spotless bathroom. The imported soaps and oils were a treat.

It is a spacious room in a lovely house with garden & outdoor space. Within walking distance to many breakfast/coffee places, restaurants & local stores in Observatory. The bed was very comfy with the down blanket perfect for winter.

We would have liked our own kitchenette, and although we were told that it is safe, we were worried about our car parked outside in the street. The towel, although very clean, were hard, could have done with a tumble dry.

No lock on door. Small guest house so security not too much of a concern. And no TV.

The host was incredible. He was kind and caring; especially when one of us was sick. He provided us with a great restaurant suggestion our first night and was always available for anything we needed. We appreciated the laundry service. The neighbourhood was great and close to some good coffee and a fabulous Saturday market.

I love the area house was so peaceful with nature within the town great to head back to after a long day at work. Werner is an amazing host everything we needed he assisted.

No cooking facility. This was an inconvenience at times but I do understand why it was not allowed as this was his home and so things would probably get messy. However, a microwave and kettle were available for use with all the necessary cutlery and crockery.

The room was really clean, spacious with comfortable bed and bathroom with complimentary amenities. Werner, the host, was very friendly and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable. It felt like we had been friends for years. It was a home away from home. It was the perfect location for my work at the hospital.

Werner gave us a very warm welcome to his home. He has all the security system in place with solar panel & battery to keep the electricity and wifi running. The bed is very comfy. Our room and bathroom is very clean. His back garden and kitchen area is cosy; gave a truly relaxing vibe. Deciding to stay with him is one of our best decisions we made in this trip. 💕

The location is pretty far from all tourist attraction and we ended up spending a pretty sum in Ubers which are necessary to able to go to the center. There was no key to close the door of the room. The room was a little cold: windows were open and we were told we needed to leave them open.

The room is big and nice, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom nice. Helpful host.
