the unavailability of water

I was highly disappointed from the fact that water was not available during my stay forcing us to leave earlier than expected and without a shower but in general the host's generosity made the experience less traumatic

There was a bit of a problem with electricity although this was resolved on the last day.

The shower drain needs unclogging, and there is a part in the room where the wall is thin, could hear the other person in the next room.

Location is in the cbd, you're close to a lot of amenities. The host is very friendly and helpful, and the place is safe. Their interior design is good also. The kitchen has all the things you need to even buy your own groceries to cook. They have also a nice large smart tv and they give you access to their tv subscription to watch, great wifi speed, parking space.

The shower water was cold

The facilities were not out of the ordinary from the outside and I managed to drive past it, in spite of using Google Maps. There was a loose strip of paint on the ceiling and the shower did not drain efficiently.

I made a very late reservation when a booking that I had made was cancelled while en-route. within 2 minutes of making the booking I was contacted by Jayden of the Wild Fig Rest guesthouse enquiring about my ETA and trying to determine if there was anything that was required prior to arrival. The guest room was very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and although there was no aircon there was a decent fan and my wife and I had a good night's rest.

In daytime the nextdoor kindergarden could be disturbing, but nothing some music won't cover.

Jaydon was super helpful and available. Decor was tastefull and current. Location was convenient for school sports. The family setup worked well, and there was enough storage . Parking was also spacious .

Everything was fine although there was no clear sign or name-board to see from the street. We used Google maps and stopped in Front of the school. We then saw the name board on the wall. Not clearly visible from the street. We will stay again.

It’s conveniently located near a shopping mall and close to doctors and medical facilities. It’s quiet albeit next to a school. The rooms were big and beautifully decorated. There’s a small, fully equipped kitchen down the hallway - which was very convenient. Parking is safe and secure. The hosts and staff are friendly and helpful.
