I really cannot think of anything that was missing during our stay.

We really liked everything about this property with fantastic hosts! They were very pleasant and sharing a lot of excellent knowledge. Good location on the river, yet not too far from shopping and restaurants. Could do a lot of sightseeing without having to cross the busy N2 highway. The room we stayed in was nice and big and had everything needed with a little, very special private garden. A superb breakfast was served every morning!

Everything ... room was most comfortable, spacious and catered for all one's needs. Breakfast was superduper, really top-notch. Wilderness manor is a wonderful property, with a great view of the river. Gerald goes out of his way to make sure that your stay is most pleasant.

The breakfast was superb, a choice of cereals and fresh fruit with yogurts, selection of cold meats and cheese and fresh pastries and bread, followed by a freshly well cooked and presented hot breakfast. We had to be out by 8am one morning for a trip and they prepared an early breakfast for us that was the same as normal. The ground floor room was large and gave out to a delightful shaded garden, the bathroom with all the normal amenities was massive with large shower and bath. The hosts were attentive and had information to hand. The public rooms on the 1st Floor opened onto balconies that gave lovely views over the lagoon. A nice walk along the lagoon into Wilderness of 1km led to numerous places to eat and the other way to several walks into the park. Parking was off road and ample.

There was nothing which we felt required any improving, our stay was great and we were extremely happy with everything.

The room was fantastic, very large and spacious and finished with everything we needed. The hosts were extremely friendly, informative and helpful offering us a lot of insight into the area and ensuring we felt at home.

Wilderness Manor is a 5+ star B+B. Gerald and JD are truly amazing hosts. The property has been remodeled and the en-suite rooms are huge with elevated views of the intercoastal lagoon. The interior has been immaculately decorated and offers 2 large lounges for relaxing whilst enjoying the expansive views. The breakfast was simply amazing with a combination buffet style and a la carte full English breakfast cooked to your personal choice. When traveling to the George/Wilderness area, this is definitely the place to stay. It is located in Wilderness only 20 mins from George.

Cannot think of anything at all. Any requests for change were immediately looked into. Breakfast was also adjusted and extra Bircher was made for us. Fantastic service I've never experienced anywhere else before.

Everything exceeded our expectations and the hosts were incredibly kind and attentive. Location, breakfast and service was better than anyone could wish for. Even special requests were immediately fulfilled. Rooms were perfectly clean, extremely spacious and comfortable with beautiful views.

JD and Gerald are excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. They had a ton of information and recommendations on what to do or where to eat in the area and they were very helpful. The garden room was very spacious and has a good connection to the garden, the bathroom is spacious, very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and as they said.. you will not starve 😀

Spacious bedroom, bathroom and lounge area. Spotless and luxurious. Great view of the lagoon from our lounge area. Modern bathroom. Excellent service from the hosts who helped us with advice on excursions and updates on available routes (there had been heavy rain falls so some routes were closed). Tasty breakfast with good variety.

Hosts Gerald and JD paid an exquisite level of detail to ensuring every second of our stay in Wilderness was well spent. The know everything there is to know about the area and restaurants and things to do. The property is impeccably clean and although not self-catering is very well equipped. Our room was very spacious with a stunning view over the Touws River from the balcony.

The easiest 10/10 we ranked in booking! Gerald and JD are by far the most amazing hosts we encountered. They take care of every single aspect of hospitality. You feel spoiled. The breakfast is very good and served with a lot of love. Advices and tips regarding where to go and what to see are given in depth and details. The house itself is simply magnificent, the room is beautiful, big, and the bathroom is modern and top notch. Also- probably the cleanest place I’ve ever been to.
