Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room and the walk in shower could have been more spacious, but it was very clean and tidy.
The breakfast was very nice, and I love the location, everyone was so friendly.

The size of the bathroom, the position of the TV, the parking situation, the keys provided didn’t open the front door.
Clean, close proximity to the beachfront, comfortable bed, en-suite. The hosts were also very accommodating and helpful.

The breakfast needs improvement. The manager and the lady whom assisted him were friendly and accommodating, even though we checked in late.
The bread was fresh although the breakfast only included 3 food item. The margarine expired and it had mould in it. The kitchen staff should have checked it's expiry date before offering it to us. It was dissappointing and unhealthy.

Needed to warm food but the microwave was broken and the staff don't check up their guests to see If they need anything.
It was nice and quiet as I needed that quiet time,so I managed to get the rest I wanted and the staff didn't bother with anything.

The top room was nice but the bathroom was an after though an is falling apart but was useable and clean.

I can’t complain as I understand as its a work in progress which they informed me.
Zagorski’s Bed and breakfast, although still a work in progress, was absolutely stunning. Friendly and welcoming staff (Trevor and Loveliness). Very eclectic and what they have done so far is beautiful. This is a true hidden gem.

We requested accommodation quite late at night during the week. Regardless, they accepted and helped us kindly. Great room, good privacy, private bathroom, locks on doors. Location was close to main areas. TV in the room. Good for short term accommodation

The building was not designed to be a b&b. It was forced to be one. Shoddy conversions and the room was way to small for the bed . Light in the room was not working. The only light was a bedlamp witch was standing on the floor because there was no bedsidetable. Service at breakfast was poor with no butter or jam with the toast and the eggs were cold

For the price, I was happy with all the services.
Loveless and Tino made our stay very comfortable and went their way to even accommodate our luggage after we had left and were very understanding of the difficult situation we were in. I would recommend them to everyone going to the Blouberg area.
