It’s up on a bit of a hill, which means it has a steep driveway (others seemed to have issues with it but not too much of a problem for us) but then their are stairs to reception and then further stairs up to the rooms. So luggage dragging can be tough. However, Stim helped us with our bags and he had big strong arms! Because it’s up on the hill, it gets great views over the ocean where we saw Humpback Whales splashing in the morning! So I’d take the hill and the stairs for that view any day!

The value for money in this beautiful area. Whilst it’s not the most modernised place, it has all it needs for a comfortable stay at such a great price. The staff (mainly Stim, as I called him!) were warm and welcoming with a wicked sense of humour!

The place is easy to find on maps, the staff was very welcoming, the Manager explained everything on arrival. The room was clean, spacious and the view was amazing. All amenities are within reach. Breakfast was delicious and hot. I would recommend the place to friends and family.

The driveway is quite steep. Too many stairs going up to the house. The room description on booking.com was misleading. I chose the room with a private pool, thinking it was an actual private pool only accessible from my room as described on the app, however, it was a communal pool. Pictures are very different from the actual property. I also felt it was overly priced for a guest house that's quite old.

I liked the view. And Breakfast was good. Host was really nice.

Place seems to be a little run down a bit. Tv remotes were broken and it was hard to use so I ended up watching something on my phone. No wifi password available in the rooms

1 small issue the name kinda misled me as i thought it was in ZIMBALI itself. so was a bit confused, the driveway entrance to the property is a bit tricky and steep lucky for me i read on another review not to use a low clearance vehicle so too heed of that.

Good Day the place is good, had an excellent time there, the views from the bedroom was just amazing being able to see the shoreline, breakers and the ocean very nice indeed. the room was clean and tidy, comfortable. The driveway was steep, and therefore our car had to park outside the yard. Things can be done to improve this

Vehicles with a low ground clearance may experience difficulties coming and going due to the sharp incline. It is also easier to drive past, make a U-turn and then enter.

Would have appreciated WIFI details and bottled water in the room and a smart TV, but these are insignificant in relation to the whole.

Really enjoyed my stay, even though it was short. Zethu, Khetiwe and the rest of the staff were so wonderful and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The view from my room was just perfect, the breakfast spread was more than I could ask for. It was very easy to ask for anything I needed or wanted to know. Perfectly located - I safely walked to the beach, to restaurants for lunch and dinner, to the gelato shop, to the spa - it was lovely. Next time I'll go for a whole week!
