Great for one night perfect location to eat traditional Moroccan food . Very friendly receptionist by arrival.
Excellent location to the old media of Casablanca and the food markets, also across from the hotel is a wonderful Bazar worth visiting as it supports local artists showcasing traditional Moroccan skills in weaving, wood work, jewellery making, ceramics, art, leather and textiles in a modern way. Shower was hot and strong and a little small but it’s an old building so you expect that. It’s not a fancy hotel but if you just want a clean room and good location for a good price, then this will be ideal.
Just inside the Medina. Pay attention to the directions they give you. Lovely room within a traditional Riad, Rooftop breakfast within a bedouin tent area was great, Friendly staff
Arik, the owner/manager was kind, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very tasty, served in the beautiful rooftop dining room. Location was in the exciting Medina area. So vibrant and east access to Port Ville, and the hop on/off bus. Plus you could walk around the souks for hours Beautiful traditional Moroccan style inside, and very comfortable bed.
The Hotel is situated in the city centre. Very quite and peaceful environment. The Al-Medina market is directly opposite the hotel, just few meters away. The Marina mall is less than 10 minutes walk from Novotel Hotel. And there are many restaurants both Moroccan traditional and others. The city is calm, peaceful and the weather was very cold which was good for me.
the architecture of the hotel and room is immaculate. not like royal moroccan but homely and traditional. and if you want to experience real local life you should stay here. there is a great cafe where beside and people hangout at the small common square in front of the hotel. its a beautiful view. theres corner stores nearby too staffs are very friendly and helpful
The staff was very welcoming. This property had an excellent traditional Moroccan breakfast and diner (Tajine). The family room is larger than their European counterparts.
Riad Tanjil is a traditional beautifully-appointed Moroccan farmhouse located in a little oasis about a 10 minute drive from the airport. The riad provided transportation from and to the airport which was very convenient. We spent the afternoon hanging out by the pool in the backyard, entertained by a flock of peacocks wandering the yard, then were served a delicious Moroccan chicken tagine for dinner. Excellent home-made cooking. We could not have been happier with our choice.
Very friendly staff, beautiful traditional Moroccan design. Some facilities needed fixing like the shower head was hard to stand up and the toilet kept flushing unless you press on the button again but apart from that it was very comfortable and great value.
This was a very clean, light and airy riad. Its actually more of a hotel than a traditional riad and I was actually grateful for this after staying in some dodgy riads in the past. Everything was good including the air conditioning and the bathroom. The location was great - short taxi ride to the beach and very close to the Casa Port railway station and the medina. I enjoyed my stay with one exception - see below.
