Big roomes. Quite location for good sleep. There is a sport centre near the hotel and tenis court, also small atletics training place near by in the woods. You have a fitness room and sauna. The hotel does have a storage place for bikes if you bring your own bike. The perfect place for active holidays!

We had an amazing stay at Post am See Traunkirchen! The hotel is stylish, elegant, and beautifully designed, with great attention to detail. Everything feels carefully thought out and of high quality. Our room had a stunning view of the lake, which made our mornings unforgettable. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh and tasty options. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and welcoming, and we truly felt cared for. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and would definitely love to come back!

The overall stay exceeded our expectations. We travelled with a 10 m+ and a 5 y old and the Gastehaus was excellent for our family. The owners are very kind people, doing everything to make your stay comfortable. They provided us with a kettle for the baby, extra diaper bin, helped with info etc. Breakfast was lovely, room was big enough for a family of 4, big bathroom, comfortable beds, spotless clean! Spacious parking as well. The gasthaus is near right next to the main road so you can t move anywhere without a car so better to keep that in mind. It’s about 25 min drive to Attersee lake, about 35 to Mondsee lake. You can go on foot only to have a walk near the river nearby. All in all, a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

Located in Ebensee, Hotel Hochsteg Gütl is an ideal starting point for excursions to the historic villages Hallstatt and Bad Ischl.

THis facility is EXCELLENT!!! What a dream of a place to relax and vacation. Mother Nature provided rain for many days but we were comfortable, well taken are of and enjoyed the clean indoor pool and sauna. Gorgeous grounds, fantastic breakfast and afternoon "Kaffee und Kuchen" with delights backed by Margareta (the owner) herself. This is a family operated hotel and restaurant and we were truly spoiled. They all went above and beyond helping us (when our rental car would not start), catered to our needs for our 93 year old mother and were always kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the property called the Mostschenke im Heustadl and provides a five star Austrian experience in dining. The family has been on this property since the 1600's and have up-dated and built the hotel in the last ten - twelve years. The Mostschenke is the renovated cattle barn and it a delightful venue for dining. The Hotel is clean, bright and the two bedroom chalet suite is a dream for a family vacation. This place is a gem, in particular off-season without the crowds. The private beach and pier are definitely a highlight offering stunning views of Attersee. Comfortable room, very good breakfast, friendly staff round up the whole package.
