This is an exceptional place. We stayed on our way back from southwest France to Belgium, I selected it as it had great ratings and was on halfway our journey. Now let me tell you this: the pictures on the website do not do justice to the venue - it is much, MUCH better. The owners and staff were all fantastic. Breakfast was superb, as well as the lounge area for drinks (especially enjoying the cracks of the fireplace while listening to some nice jazz record). Our room was spacious, comfortable and charming, and I truly regret arriving too late to miss dinner. In a nutshell: you would rarely find a more beautiful, comfortable place. Not only in the area, just generally. My total respect for the humongous work of the owners, you rarely see such a level of sophistication in the hospitality service. I can’t wait to come back.

Everything. This is a beautiful old-established hotel in the centre of a lovely small mediaeval town. It has off-road parking, a very decent open-air swimming pool, friendly staff, comfortable and characterful rooms, quiet location and one of the best French hotel breakfasts ever. We will be back!

We’d not really taken in before arriving that the hotel is in the old abbey buildings so steeped in history. You go up a magnificent stone staircase to the rooms and the building has not lost its character. The bedroom was very comfortable and there was also a cosy sitting area downstairs. Breakfast was really nice with lots of options - the apple tart was lovely!

Everything! The gentleman at the reception, nice spread of pates, wines and beers - all refrigerated and with a minimal markup on the supermarkets - plentiful parking, and the seemingly brand- new room. Couldn't be better.

Situated in 18th century stone buildings, this former farm is halfway between Blois and Orleans. It offers en suite accommodation surrounded by well-established gardens and a pond.

The location is like a fairytale and the combination with a very good restaurant, eating in the yard, gave us a superb and unexpected magical last night of our holiday during our trip home. Very good breakfast! Hotel room in itself is adequate but not special.

We absolutely LOVED everything at the Intemporelle: Béatrice & Patrice are the nicest hosts & run their stunning Chambres d'hotes & table d'hotes the best they possibly can. Amazing dinner (we had decided to book dinner: certainly didn't regret it!), beautiful & plentiful breakfast. Our bedroom (with nice bathroom & separate toilet) was stunning, super quiet, spacious, super clean, and the large bed was comfy. Bedroom gave onto the magnificent back garden, with patio & beautiful trees. Absolutely loved it there. Béatrice & Patrice know exactly how to look after their guests the best they can. And they are very friendly too. We desperately want to go back there on our next visit to France!
