Loved absolutely everything. We were greeted outside when we left and showed to our room. Everything was smooth and efficient. Food was amazing and in our one night stay we got 3 visits to the onsen in, one time there were two other people there but besides that we were the only ones! Didn't feel the need to venture into town to try the other bathhouses. We felt like royal for the entire stay, dining in our own private room, everything on point and super clean and was such a great experience!

Incredible stay—more than just a room, but an entire experience. From the moment we were picked up at the train station, we were made to feel so welcome and as if nothing was too much. All of the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and it was so amazing.

Nothing short of amazing. We were treated like royalty, and our room with a private open-air bath was extravagant. The kaiseki meal was delicious, and the staff was kind enough to explain some of the dishes that we weren't familiar with. Only a ~10 minute walk from the train station, so it was super convenient. And, for those who would prefer a drive, they offer shuttle service. As with a lot of places in Japan, there was a slight language barrier, but nothing that Google translate couldn't help with! If we could, we would return here every year!

"Enjoy little things but all the time " It is one of the best stay for me after visiting Japan manytime. Room is comfy as Japanese style public area is so nice and clean, good coffee with warmth warmth atmosphere made my long travelling trip more wonderful. Don't forget to take morning walk Don't missed the sunrise at the beach and enjoy slow walk in the little town along the river and the tiny alley. Thank you to the owner to make this place as lovely as they are ❤️

We're upgraded to a bigger room with attached bathroom. It's the biggest and beautiful room throughout our stay in Japan. We really love the tatami room and slept very well. Pity we've to leave very early the next day to catch our train and regretted for not booking the private onsen and taking dinner in the hotel.

Breakfast was served at the café at the bottom floor, you get a full tray of delicious food! Café here also had happy hour later in the day for hotel guests! Hotel staff was amazing, our tatami room was amazing, and they carried all our luggage for us! At some point I lost my passport, and the staff went out of their way to help me find it. Truly wonderful people. Hotel also has two private onsen baths, and we tried them both! No reservations, just wait until it's available and try not to occupy it longer than 40 min. You also get yukatas, obi belts, haori jackets (if it's cold), tabi socks and geta sandals to wear during your visit. Umbrellas and rain boots are available to borrow if it's raining. We're going back to Koyado Enn on our next visit! Definitely a highlight of our honeymoon! It was such a special and lovely hotel! 🥰

We fell in love with the town of Kinosaki, the perfect relaxing spot after Tokyo and Kyoto. We stayed in June and it was still nice to get up early and use the onsen or at night (days were a bit warm). The hotel was so lovely and they were super helpful. You get a pass to visit all the onsen as well as your traditional yukata (like a kimono) and the wooden clogs. They also had an onsen onsite (split into men and women’s) as well as a private onsen you could use - 2,200 yen for 45 mins - we enjoyed this.

I really enjoyed my visit to Takeno, a quiet, traditional fishing village. The guest house was simple but really lovely, and spotlessly clean, and Keisuke made sure I had everything I needed. The sashimi set for dinner was the best I have had in Japan - fish fresh straight off the dock. It was also really relaxing to hang out downstairs in his bookshop bar. All round a great experience.

Firstly, the host was super friendly and has a keen eye for photography. All our photos turned out beautifully. From giving us the umbrella to providing us with the Yukata to wear and take photo. The Onsen was lovely and we were able to experience it privately which is a bonus. The dinner and the breakfast was delicious. So much variety and everything was done so pretty. I love the room as there was a gorgeous green garden outside which was very relaxing. The host also had his mum provide us with a matcha tea ceremony and it wasn't bitter.

The room was good. The staff are very lovely and try really hard to explain things despite limited English. One of the private baths is very modern and truly a wonderful place to relax. The location is very central and a close walking distance to absolutely everything.

The food was amazing, the room was incredible, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making our stay feel special, particularly on our honeymoon. The area and the baths were amazingly relaxing too. It's hands down been the best place we stayed throughout our 3 weeks touring Japan.
