The staff are fantastic, helpful, very knowledgeable and always a nice greeting. The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean and the our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the bar and dinner were too. Secure parking on site is a bonus.

Torel Avantgarde is set in Porto's centre, a 10-minute walk from the Douro riverside and 750 metres from the iconic Clérigos Church.

the property itself is one of the nicest I have been to. the small details are outstanding, and the views are even better! each room is made up and customized to represent a famous person in history. we were lucky enough to get Van Gogh so as you can imagine the room was spectacular! the staff deserve a special mention, they went out of their way to make our stay so memorable!! and they were all so nice and friendly!! special thanks to Gabrielle, the bar and dibgy staff and the receptionists for making our Porto trip be one beyond our expectations! we will be back!!! I had a river view room with balcony. It was a shame the weather was horrible during my stay but the location was convenient to the key areas.the room I had was probably one of the smartest designed hotel rooms in Europe.

The staff was great and very welcoming! Many thanks to Karlos and Soraya. The room was very clean and comfortable. Cozy reception and very beautiful hotel's interior. Breakfasts are delicious. The hotel is located near the main market and touristic center, close to the metro station. Just great place to stay!
