The staff were very friendly and helpful. Having washing machines and tumble dryers that guests could use (instead of just dry cleaning) was an excellent help.

The rooms (stayed in a contemporary room) were simple, clean and almost scandanavian design, but very comfortable beds and retained the authentic windows. Breakfast was delicious with many options. Loved our time! The museum was so well done and really fascinating, a must see if you visit.

From the moment we saw the hotel from outside we were impressed, although no big foyer or entrance with the grandeur, the position was fabulous, and the Christmas vibe was beautiful. I thought i would ask if it was possible to have a christmas tree put in our room - didn't think it was likely to happen but they did and it bought a tear to my eye as i have dreamt of a white Christmas with my fmaily for many years and this was the cherry on top. Thank you Le Capitol for making one of my bucket lists items so special and a memory that will stay with me and my family forever.

Situated in the heart of downtown Montreal, and only minutes from many area attractions, the historic Manoir Sherbrooke blends old-world charm with all of today's modern conveniences. Sherbrooke Metro Station is 5 minutes' walk away. The staff really went above and beyond, super nice and super friendly, provided us with very useful advice regarding inexpensive parking as well as where to buy what we needed. The breakfast was very tasty, a wide choice of pastry, which was fresh and crispy. There was no ham nor veggies, which is something we typically eat for breakfast, but crispy croissants with PB&J made up for it. The staff made us feel welcome and provided us with adapters as the ones we'd brought didn't fit. Overall very pleasant stay which hugely contributed to our satisfaction with our holiday in Canada.

The service was top notch, whether at the front desk or room service or the valet. The room was impeccable, and the terrace was very useful. The presence of a first class bar (Bar George) in the hotel was the cherry on top.

Possible to cook over the fire. If you’re lucky Michel can take you on the boat to search for beavers. We saw several! Very clean facilities and accommodation. The sunset over the river was amazing. Chickens and rabbits roaming free.
