Black Rock Oceanfront Resort offers a spectacular escape for storm watching, whale watching, beach adventures, or romantic retreats, any time of year. I planned to Stay in a house or Cabin, not a Complex, but Black Rock beat me. Unbelievable View and You feel full privacy in a huge Complex. We had a trail Studio, with full amenities (full kitchen and kitchenettes ) and it has a great view from the room. super Calm and quiet. Helpfull staff. Never forget our stay , highly recommended.

The Victoria Clipper is 2 km away. Clean and comfortable, delicious complimentary breakfast and evening soups. The staff were lovely. The Christmas decor felt very festive!

Great location, quiet and clean and comfortable Communication from the inn was excellent.Didn’t try the hot , but the sauna was outstanding after a long drive.

The property was built in 2016 and has air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. The property is non-smoking and is located 1.8 km from Newcastle Island Marine Park. Great location next to beautiful Beban Park. Owner shoveled snow in the morning and swept snow off my vehicle which was very helpful. Road was plowed but the city which made travel easier. No hassle lock box entry and well appointed suite.

We were warmly greeted by Peter who very kindly upgraded us to the best suite in the Seine Boat Inn with views directly over Alert Bay. Later that evening, we saw a humpback whale just in front of our porch! Pure magic!

We stayed during low season so it was very peaceful and quiet. It was immaculately clean and super comfortable.

The apartments are equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace and a private balcony and furnished patio. Wow, just wow! This was such a beautiful place. Just 2 mins from the beach and modern, beautiful decor, well equipped kitchen and lovely room. We couldn't have asked for more, just wish we had more time there.
