Each room at this hotel is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. The location of Motel one Basel is extraordinary. When I first looked at Google Maps, I thought it was good, but when I arrived and saw it in person, it was out of this world. The doors of the lobby literally opened up onto Barfusserplatz. I might be slightly exaggerating with my descriptions but as I was there during the Christmas Markets, it literally felt like stepping out of my house directly into such a lively market, and that was perfect. The rooms was spacious, clean and the beds comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful, he provided an adaptor (I didn't have the Swiss adaptor) and also helped to exchange my large denomination CHF for smaller notes too. Service was always with a smile, nothing like Swiss Hospitality!

The Basel SBB Train Station is 850 metres away. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed) Friendly staff, excellent location, spa, cleanliness... I would definitely stay at the same hotel the next time.

The room was cozy and clean, and everything that could be needed was in the room. The coffee was good. I love this stay.

We stayed at Hotel Euler and were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Convenient location.
