The hostel far exceeded our expections with a wonderful greeting from our host, Carmen, who was always happy, smiling and helpful. Due to the price we paid, we expected a much cheaper feeling, but everything from the facilities to the personnel was excellent. While there's no food on the premises a small restaurant very nearby has one of the best menus of the day, we've had in Colombia! The breakfast on site was per plate instead of a buffet, which meant it was freshly made.

Het Mincaecohabs Hotel Hotel ligt in de heuvels buiten Santa Marta. U kunt er prachtige wandelingen in de tropische tuin maken. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar en een gratis ontbijt is inbegrepen. Prachtige huisjes, wat ouder maar alles voorhanden en brandschoon. Super vriendelijk personeel. Warm water, koelkast alles prima. Restaurant ter plekke goed. Echt prima gegeten.

Casa de Isabella, a Kali Hotel ligt op slechts een halve stratenblok van de jachthaven van Santa Marta. Het beschikt over kamers met een iPod-dock en gratis WiFi. This is the nicest hotel I've stayed in. The rooms and grounds were so beautiful, the staff were so attentive and helpful. Franklin at reception always made sure we were well looked after, and gave us good recommendations of where to go in the area for food, laundry service etc. He truly gave a 5 star service. One morning as well we asked to heat up some food because we were going on a tour, one of the ladies heated it up for us and also provided juice and coffee even though breakfast was not open yet. Really really thoughtful staff!

Hotel Santorini Casablanca Resort is gelegen in Santa Marta, op 25 km van Rodadero Sea Aquarium and Museum, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een fitnesscentrum en een... Prive strand, rustig, vriendelijk personeel, eten was lekker op het strand of in het restaurant veel zwembaden. Niet het duurste en niet het goedkoopste hotel. Iets verder van de stand maar een uber brengt je er zo. Carlos Campuzano heeft ons goed geholpen.
