Built in 1910 and completely modernised in 2017, the LIONO BoutiqueHotel features rooms that are charming and individually furnished. All rooms include a flat-screen satellite TV, a desk, wardrobe, safe and a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer and toiletries. The hotel is the outskirts of the town, on a hill at a 5 minutes drive from the city center, in a quiet neighbourhood. Our room was modern, quiet and spotlessly clean but what we loved most was the giga-enormous, tasty buffet breakfast in the morning which contained everything one might desire (both salty and sweet, which is not so common in Germany)

I had birthday and the staff surprised me with a bottle of Sekt and a plate of fruits for breakfast. The breakfast itself was also great, with scrambled eggs, yogurt and a big variety of fruits, cheese, and nuts. The spa area is very relaxing.

The quiet, non-smoking Hotel St Georg is located in a complex of 3 traditional, timber-framed buildings. Each of its modern rooms has a minibar and a private bathroom. Wi-Fi access is available free of charge. The breakfast room was wonderful. The food offerings were excellent by American standards, but just a little less than we experienced at other German properties on our trip. Freshness was the only detractor.
