This place was excellent! It was close to Avila. The room was spacious and the hotel itself is an old home that was remodeled with modern conveniences that included a restaurant with excellent food & service. The steak was delicious and so were the appetizers and dessert! We even were treated to an after dinner drink. You can also ha e breakfast there too before ypu head into Avila.The view of the countryside was a definite plus!

The food at the restaurant was delicious, we especially recommend the rabo de ternera. The rooms were cosy, the bed very comfortable, and we had stunning views of the Sierra. We would definitely stay here again!

Hostal Rural Luna y Hostal Rural Lunaposada offre comodi alloggi nella cornice di Candeleda. Dotata di il servizo in camera, questa struttura offre ai propri ospiti anche un’area giochi per bambini. Stayed for four nights. Outside it was sizzling hot but the room was well insulated from noise and heat with an excellent A/C! Room was nicely decorated with ample space for 2 people, their luggage and with room to move around. Reception was cute with ability to leave luggage and lots of books to choose from. Bonus was a nice lounge with a small fridge to put a cold drink or fruit. A coffee maker and tea pot. Sofa and tv if you didn’t want to be in the room. Luis was amazing at making recommendations for sight seeing, places to eat and where to hike. 100% recommended.
