When it didn't occur to you that "la ferme" means farm and you find yourself in French village swimming in the pool overlooking pastures, cows, sheep and goats 😊 Pretty unique experience. We stayed two nights with a baby and just relaxed there, didn't need to go anywhere. We enjoyed dinners prepared by the hosts.

This is the second time we have stayed here, which is probably recommendation enough! As before the couple who run it were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent with fresh bread, croissants and home made jams. We were in a downstairs bedroom this time and had no problem with the internet. The shower was fine. There was a kettle in the room. The accommodation is within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants. This time we had managed to get a booking at Le Raisin just 5 mins walk away and in the Michelin guide. Access from the motorway is easy. We were heading south on our way to Italy and filled up with cheap petrol the evening before when we had come off the motorway.

Good size rooms, very comfortable beds, lovely welcome when we arrived. We had an absolutely wonderful dinner. Delicious food and excellent service and lots of choice at breakfast

Kasiino, aia ja aiavaatega Chambres D'Hotes "Les Chiens Verts", jardin, terrasse, parking privé asub Hauteville-Lompnes'is, 48 km kaugusel Abbaye d'Hautecombe'ist. The host and hostess were marvellous. Very courteous and accommodating with interesting stories to tell. The hostess has a knack for languages, I counted four in my short stay.

What a lovely find! We stayed enroute back to the U.K. from Italy and really enjoyed our stay. The room. breakfast and communication from the host was exceptional.

Independent family hotel with 16 rooms, carefully decorated by the owner's wife, who is an upholsterer. Wonderful family-run hotel, with exceptionally friendly and helpful hosts, touches of good taste throughout, and a perfect, quiet location next to the old town center.

Set in Sainte-Julie, 41 km from Groupama Stadium, Les Chambres De La Renaissance offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. We had not known what to expect before we arrived but were delighted with the accomodation once we saw it. Basically it felt as though we were staying in a castle. The rooms were beautiful - very spacious and light with stone walls, floors and ceiling. A perfect combination of old character and modern conveniences. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The food and wine were very good. We would defintely recommend staying here as long as you have no mobility issues because the winding stone stairs in the turret to reach your bedroom would be difficult unless you were completely mobile.
