Hotel Santiago is located in Hendaye, just 3 km from the beach, and offers an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant which is open for dinner. Free WiFi access is available. Everything was perfect. A very neat, tidy and silent place to rest. Not too far from the train station.

Completely renovated, the hotel consists of three village houses, 35 rooms spread over 3 floors, and plateaus in the heart of the most shopping district of Biarritz, Les Halles, is a lively and green... We are a family of five with three teenagers and stayed for three days. We stayed in teh appartment, which is a separate building just across from the main hotel building. The flat was on two levels, with a double bed and three single beds. It had a small patio out front which was actually wonderful, in that we could sit outside and drink wine or coffee and enjoy the sun and the very central location. The beds were very comfortable! The hotel is very central, a block from the market and a grocery store and surrounded by restaurants. The staff were very friendly. We did surfing lessons every day, and the surfing was about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. For beginners, Biarritz is fantastic for surfing -- very good predictable waves, and many options for rentals.

Carlos and Fatima are super nice and provided good advice. We enjoyed the petit dejeneur, parking in the premises and the quiet atmosphere. It felt like home.

Parking was free and easily accessible. The staff was friendly (even printed out a personalized letter to welcome us). We loved the location; 10 minutes walk to see the ocean. We also ate dinner at their award-winning restaurant. Unforgettable!
