Warm and friendly greeting by the owners when we arrived. Ate an exceptional Sunday roast with friendly and attentive waiting staff, lovely ambience in the restaurant and the decor was superb. Room on the top floor was cosy with fabulous views over the harbour. Very clean with plenty of space and a comfy bed. Breakfast the next morning was also excellent with so much choice! Also loved the open fire in the bar area - ideal for a drink before dinner.

The hotel sits in the charming and peaceful town of Saint Aubin, offering stunning waterfront views. It’s also a great base for exploring the island, with local attractions easily accessible. From the moment we arrived, we were given such a warm welcome — the team was incredibly friendly, helpful, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. And the breakfasts? Phenomenal. Without a doubt, the best we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to return!

A fitness centre is also available on-site. Excellent location on a beautiful beach - very quiet. The breakfast, included with our room, was amazing with beautiful choices of fresh fruit, meats and cheeses. - and of course the "English Breakfast" options.

Some rooms have balconies and many have stunning sea views. the location is absolutly great, fantastic view over the bay and the see, everything you need is in the room, and the staff at the reception and in the restaurant at dinner and at breakfast is always very kind and food really good!

The award-winning Retreat Restaurant serves the best Jersey produce and offers al fresco dining in the hotel courtyard. Guests can also relax in the Retreat Bar, offering lattes, cocktails and snacks. A great place! Our cottage was very spacious and clean, really worth the money. It was well equipped, incl had a washing machine. The staff was great, really professional, also the outside areas are well taken care of by the maintenance staff/gardeners. Because of the storm and cancelled ferries we ended up staying 8 nights instead of 5, but thanks to good wifi could telework. The hotel is right next to a bus stop, the bus from there will take you to St Aubin+ St Helier. We definitely want to return!
