I’m not going to lie, the hotel started out very rough to the point we almost left and got a different hotel on the island. We ended up talking to the general manager George who was very kind, helpful and patient, he was able to get us a different, quieter room, away from the kids. George and us worked through the problems and by the time we ended up leaving we have nothing but positive notes for the hotel. We went from never wanting to go back to wanting to tell all our friends about this specific hotel and why they should visit Mitsis Alila and no other hotel on the island. Many people confirmed it was the best hotel on the island, and I would have to agree. I will definitely go back. Big thank you to George, Zoi, the front desk manager I think Alex, the bellhop, and the floor manager, was not able to catch his name. All of them deserve raises.

Each unit comes with a private bathroom with a bath or shower, free toiletries, and a hair dryer. Towels are offered. Family run hotel with pool area to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. We stayed for a week and ate quite a few meals here. We tried several local dishes and all were delicious. The owners provided a truly greek experience with some great conversations.

The view from the rooftop was incredible. Our room was spacious and comfortable. A delicious breakfast was served every morning by friendly and welcoming staff who couldn't do enough for you. The location was great as well. Would highly recommend!

The couple who manage the hotel, Mihalis and Stefania, were very pleasant and welcoming. The hotel had character and was extremely clean and well maintained. Breakfast was served in their lovely garden. The hotel is a short walk away from the historic old town.
