Loved the place very scenic. The staff was amazing too. We were running late for dinner at the hotel and the restaurant was going to close by the time we got there. The Staff managed to put away food for us on the side this way when we got to the hotel we had all the meals ready. Thank you hotel Laxa for the great hospitality and good stay!

This adorable guest house felt like home! It is owned by a wonderful Bavarian family and had all the usual charms of an Alpine Family inn, with the added charm of traditional Icelandic touches. Breakfast was lovely and it felt so peaceful in the valley where it is located. I hope to come back with my parents in the future!

Our room was so cute and had a lot of character (not just a boring bland hotel room). The hosts were so sweet. We had no issues with noises, even though all rooms were booked.

The room was nice, with a comfortable bed that made for a good night’s sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals, which was very convenient. Although we didn’t use it, there’s a hot tub available for guests - a lovely option after a day of exploring. The location is excellent, just a short drive to Geosea, which was a must-visit for us and a real highlight of the area. Overall, a welcoming and practical place to stay while visiting this part of Iceland.

Stóra-Ásgeirsá Horse Farm Stay si trova a Víðigerði e prevede la vista sul fiume, un giardino, una terrazza e un bar. Beautiful views from the windows in the cabin. Restaurant close by. Warm welcome when we arrived. Nice room with a comfortable bed.

The best view I have ever had. The kitchen was very well equipped, as well as the bathroom and so clean! It was so peaceful, so quiet, just what we needed.
