The location was ideal — especially as I had been to Iceland before and I was only doing an overnight stay (and didn’t need to drive into Reykjavik.) The facilities and breakfast were great. The location allowed me to have a short stroll to the lighthouse and get some great aurora photos!

The guest house has family rooms. My friend and I stayed here for one night as a base for visiting the blue lagoon and returning our rental car to the airport early the following morning. It was perfect and had everything we needed, it was one of our fav places we stayed on our entire trip. There was plenty of towels and toiletries supplied, more so than bigger hotels we stayed at in Reykjavik, and the kitchen/tv are awas comfy. Beds were very comfy and spacious bathroom.

The family-run Guesthouse 1x6 is in the old part of Keflavík, a 7-minute drive from Keflavik International Airport and a 20-minute drive from the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. It offers free WiFi and its own geothermal hot pool.

The garden's relaxing thermal bath is made from washed-up ocean stones. Beautiful atmosphere, great location, very helpful host.

Located in Sandgerði village, these basic wooden cottages are a 10-minute drive away from Keflavik Airport. Free WiFi is available.

Just 7 minutes’ drive from Keflavík International Airport, this B&B features an outdoor hot tub and a furnished terrace. WiFi and parking are free. Beautiful place and breakfast with lovely owner ,and tub was fabulous and so warm under the stars and northern lights Thankyou

This boutique hotel is next to central Keflavik’s picturesque marina, 3.5 km from Keflavik Airport. It offers free WiFi, free on-site parking, as well as a rooftop sitting pool to relax in and enjoy the surroundings. Been refurbished since last we went. It is a great place. People were so helpful and accommodating. Rooms were warm but could be made cooler if required. Restaurant food and service was well above what was expected go far as to say excellent. Nothing seemed to difficult for them to help us with. Great mix of nationalities accommodated.

We are located in a walk-able downtown of Keflavík and only a mere 5-minute drive from KEF Keflavik International Airport. WiFI is available through out public space and guest rooms. This hotels has 11 event rooms with plenty of complimentary outdoor and indoor parking. We received a warm welcome at the Park Inn. The staff on the desk was lovely and sorted out a taxi for us to the airport in the morning. Room was very big for two people and very clean. Dinner was exceptional, we had the steak sandwich and the bacon burger and they were fantastic. We also had desert which was fabulous! Staff at dinner were very friendly and helpful. Didn't expect much from a Park inn having staying in some in the UK but this one was superb.

Harbour View Cottages Grindavik has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Grindavík, 6.7 km from Blue Lagoon.

The lodge provides guests with a patio, sea views, a seating area, satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and a toaster, and a private bathroom with shower. The location. Lovely coastal walk nearby. Amazing use of space inside and very well insulated. Loved it!
