The building itself was really nice, more traditional looking, but with well-equipped rooms and really comfortable. Staff was friendly and nice. Check-in was flexible and with very good instructions.

The property was in an excellent location and was easily accessible within the ZTL. The room was perfect with fantastic views of Lake Como and the surrounding area. The staff was exceptional and I would have to say the best that I have experienced in 5 years of traveling in Europe! Will definitely stay here on our next visit!

All of the staff were incredible - Angelo, Francesca and Manuela made us feel so at home, while also making it feel like a luxury experience. The room was rustic and stunning. Although it rained while we were there there was an amazing hot tub overlooking the lake and we enjoyed hot coffees and later Prosecco outside and took in the views. It is a very special place with authentic rustic luxury, also we loved being away from the hectic touristy area of Varenna- it’s super close for a day trip via ferry or train, but if you are looking to relax this is definitely a better option.
