We had booked a single night in a standard room at Hotel Damaso. When we arrived we were informed that the Hotel had upgraded us to the Penthouse-suite. What a pleasant surprise! The private terrace with a stunning view overlooking most of central Rome was absolutely fantastic. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooftop bar is absolutely worth a visit, and the breakfast was also very good. No wonder this hotel has such good reviews. Our stay was phenomenal. 10/10!

Huge thanks to the staff for making our stay comfortable. - Location: The accommodation is central and in a nice neighborhood, lots of other nice hotels, restaurants and shops near by. We felt safe walking around here even at night. - Service: After a long journey we were welcomed by a friendly face at the reception. The check in was quick, she explained everything in detail and was so nice to us! We appreciated the additional map she gave us and tips and tricks to get around the city. She recommended some great places to eat, we tried most and they really were - amazing! Thank you so much for your care! - Room, facilities and cleanliness : The room is exceptionally clean. They offer room service daily and the cleaning is thorough. The bed was comfortable, the room was stacked with all necessities. Spacious, new furniture exactly like the photos. The safe was a big plus for us, I missed this the last time I stayed in Rome. I highly recommend this place, it is worth the money if you want a really comfortable stay after a long day of walking and exploring.

The staff are all super nice and helpful, the reception lady helped us check in early so that we can relax a while after 12h flight, that really makes our day. Breakfast is also perfect with great service. Room is larger than what i expected, everything is comfortable and we enjoyed every minute there. Also, the elevator. Some comments says it’s too old and less convenient, but I find it charming and fascinating to experience, like a movie scene:)
